Hi! Thanks for considering me to take care of your animals :) I understand that while taking a trip is exciting, it can also come with anxiety and guilt for not being able to bring your fur babies with you. My hope is that I can make your pet’s experience while you’re away as much like a vacation as possible, so that it’s like both of you are on holiday at the same time! :) I have done overnight dog- and cat-sitting since 2022. I have experience walking, feeding meds, scooping poop, keeping your baby away from other doggos (if needed!), cuddling, or giving your fur babies space -- whatever they need! I have taken care of cats since my mom adopted two Calico sisters and rescued a Ginger tabby in 2020. I have done overnight, boarding, and drop-in cat-sitting since 2022. I have experience feeding meds, scooping poop, nail-trimming, cuddling, or giving your fur babies space -- whatever they need! I adore cats and have not been able to adopt one of my own since I’ve been in school, so I would love to help fellow cat-lovers out :)

We really appreciate Veronica watching our Coco. He doesn’t like being alone and gets more and more stressed when we go on vacation, so we tried having him stay with Veronica and it was a success! He came home in good shape and a lot less stressed. We loved getting all the photos and videos each day. I didn’t always have a long response, but it helped me to relax knowing Coco was happy and getting great care.

Schedule
I’m working part-time and have a flexible schedule, so I can spend most of my time not working with your pet :) I just finished my master’s in the UK in June 2025 after graduating from Reed College in May 2024.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer frequent updates (with photos/videos) by text, as much as you need! I'm comfortable staying inside/near the home to keep your pet company. I live in an apartment building in a beautiful quiet, sunny, tree-lined neighborhood. The apartment is big with a small terrace and direct sunlight every day, no other pets and no children, perfect for your pets to get some sunbathing in! I typically don’t let pets onto the terrace for safety reasons, but they love sitting by the doors and staring out at the view. The building is of course pet-friendly and the neighborhood is perfect for walks and sniff time. I have a designated spot for food and water bowls and a litter box.
A typical day
I love to spend quality time with your pets and make sure that they (and I) get some good sunshine and fresh air! I like taking them on sniff walks, exploring grassy parks near my neighborhood, lying in the sun on the terrace in my apartment, or just having some good old-fashioned snuggle time. I also like bringing their toys with them so that they have something familiar in a new environment!
