I had Veronica as a dog walker and dog sitter for several years for my pitbull Bisquit, and later my lab mix Jesse. Bisquit was very afraid of people initially and Veronica came to meet my dog prior to agreeing to walk her to make sure that both my dog and she herself was comfortable with each other She took the time to help my dog feel comfortable and Bisquit fell in love with her immediately, which I had not seen her do EVER until she met Veronica. Veronica has extensive expertise, both professional and personal, from caring for a variety of dogs with a wide range of temperaments in a variety of stressful situations. She helped me feel more comfortable about her caring for my girl by sending me videos of things that Bisquit found interesting on her walks, which I cherish even today. She also took great care during her walks to avoid interactions with other dogs, sometimes going significantly out of her way, since there are less conscientious owners in my area. Not only did she regularly care for my Bisquit while I worked 14 hour days, she also stepped in to board her emergently when I was unexpectedly hospitalized for several days with a severe illness, then emergency surgery. She willingly added a second dog to the walking schedule when I inherited Jesse, a labrador mix, from my family who had unexpectedly passed away within a few months of each other. I can't say enough about the quality of the care she gave both of my dogs during their time with me. I was very fortunate to have her as my dog walker and she would be a great addition to your pet's life as well.
