Active and fun pet sitter!
My mom would never let us have pets growing up, she was allergic. I fell in love with my first dog, a papillon mix, when she jumped in my lap for the first time 13 years ago. Since then I have gained 2 more companions: a beagle mix dog and a black cat. I have 10 years of professional pet sitting experience as well as 2 years experience working in a boarding kennel. I can handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs! I have experience giving oral medications to dogs and cats, ranging from very easy to give, to coaxing cats and dogs out from under the bed. Caring for my own elderly dog has given me experience with dogs who have mobility issues and other special needs. I love to go on walks, play and snuggle. Your pets will have a great time with me! I have recently updated my profile to offer boarding! I do have cats in my home and an elderly dog. Because of this, I will have to be selective in offering boarding and can only accommodate one pet at a time. If you reach out for boarding, I may offer you house sitting as a better fit. Veronica is great with my dog. Luna is very comfortable and happy and Veronica always leaves our house perfectly as it was.
Veronica did an amazing job with our 10 year old lab and 16 year old cat. They definitely have their fair share of quirks in their older years and she was very understanding to them all. Great communicator and we returned to a clean house and happy pets. Would love to have her house sit again.
My dog Luna was very comfortable around Veronica from the start of the meet at greet. I could tell from the pictures she sent during the sitting that Luna was relaxed and belly up. Veronica left the house as she found it and communicated well during the stay. Will definitely book with her again!
Veronica is great!! I’ve used her regularly over the past 7 or so years to check on my dog (and now 2 dogs) and every time she gives lots of love to the dogs and provides great updates on how they’re doing. Would definitely recommend!

Schedule
I have a flexible working schedule outside the home. For me to best meet your needs, please give me as much notice as possible when booking. However, I am always open to last minute requests!

I strive to follow your pet's routine as much as possible and to leave your home in better condition than I found it. Please let me know where any cleaning supplies are, as well as any quirks about your home so I can be prepared.

A typical day
Zooey and I love to hike at Red Rock Canyon Open Space! If your dog gets along with other dogs I'd love to bring him or her to the dog park. If they are more of a homebody, I love to play fetch or snuggle!
