Hi! My name is Vikki and I'm a project manager who works in technology. I'm self employed and can work from anywhere using my computer and wi-fi. This has allowed me the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world. With my work schedule, I appreciate the routine it provides to me and the animals I care for. I love house sitting and the company of the pets. I like that I feel like a "local" as soon as I land at a new house sit! I love taking walks to explore where I am staying. All the better if there is a companion to come along!

I can flex to the schedules of the animals helping them maintain the routine they are accustomed to and ease the transition while their humans are away. I've cared for several rescue animals, dogs, cats, turtles and chickens! I also grew up on a farm so am familiar with farm animals. I've been sitting consistently since 2019 and I'm grateful that all my hosts have invited me back and I’ve made repeat visits to several! I view house sitting as the serious job it is and value the trust placed in me to care for fur babies and homes.

A typical day
Working from home, I'm able to adapt to the animals schedule. I love to start the day with a walk with the 4-legged's, then get to work while my companions take their first nap of the day! My work is part-time so I'm able to take breaks and get the dogs out for potty breaks.

As a traveling house sitter, I've had the delight to house sit for families all over the world! I love to explore the areas where I'm staying. I delight in the history of an area, the local food scene and exploring on foot. I love to hike and welcome 4 legged hiking pals! I have been house sitting / pet sitting for friends starting in college. I spend summers with my family in MN and I love the that I'm able to travel Sept-May house sitting in much warmer climates since 2019. I always appreciate the trust shown to me by those leaving their animals and home in my care. I have used Trusted Housesitters for almost all my international sits (47 sits as of 5/28/25 all with 5-star reviews! I love what I do!) and would be happy to provide screenshots of my reviews.

Vikki was a wonderful home and pet sitter, and great communicator. She took excellent care of our dogs, cat, and chickens for a long weekend. She left our home better than she found it, and was accommodating with scheduling to make sure we made it home with no delays. We hope to welcome her back, and highly recommend her!!
Vikki is wonderful! My two dogs truly enjoyed their time with her. She listened to all of the details about my dogs with interest and care, and was happy to see them. I was able to enjoy my day away knowing my pups were in great hands with Vikki!
