I welcome puppies through seniors, 4–50 lbs, and tailor each stay to your dog’s age, breed, energy level, personality, and normal routine. Your pup’s stay may include: * 🐾 One-on-one enrichment games and interactive play * 🚶🏽 Weather-permitting walks in approximately 15-minute increments, adjusted to your dog’s breed, age, stamina, and activity needs * 🌳 Supervised outdoor time in a securely fenced yard * 💧 Fresh, clean purified water available throughout the stay * 🦴 Quality treats with owner approval * 🐶 Basic puppy manners and routine reinforcement * 🛏️ Rest and quiet time whenever your dog needs it * ❤️ Plenty of one-on-one attention and affection * 📸 Several photo and video updates throughout the stay, so you can see how your baby is doing while you’re away Last-minute bookings are welcome when availability allows. My goal is to provide the convenience of daycare with the comfort and personal attention of a private sitter — no cages, no crowded playgroups, and no competing for attention.

I would HIGHLY recommend Vernita. She goes above and beyond to make sure your pet is well cared for and is having a fun and enriching time while you’re away. She sent me so many cute photo and video updates of my dog throughout his stay, helping to put my mind at ease. I will absolutely book Vernita again for pet sitting in the future!

Vernita did such a great job looking after our German Shepherd and Staffie! I cannot recommend her enough. She communicates really well- she sent loads of pictures and videos every day. We've had several sitters through Rover, but Vernita is just heads above anyone else. I travel often for work and feel so much better about leaving knowing she is there. I've already booked her again!

Vernita was great. The only reason I gave her 5 stars is because there are not 6. She took great care of our temperamental, but sweet HUGE dog. (150 lbs Cane Corso) Our dog loves Vernita. Our home loves Vernita. We love Vernita. Use her once, you will never want anyone else again. She is the best.

I am a unemployed Army veteran looking for something to do that I love !!!! I lived here in Springfield for the past 3 years. I love outdoor walks and I am not far from Washington Park. I started Rover in Daytona Beach Florida and proud to enjoy Illinois with your furbaby!!!

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m not reckless I always check the surroundings of any potential harm in or outside of the home. I will treat your baby as if they were my own. I love to send photo bombing pictures throughout time spent so no worries on knowing how/what they have been up too!!!
