I grew up surrounded by pets
My full name is Olivia Vera Love but you can call me Vera! I’ve taken care of animals of every kind ever since I could walk. Henry was my first dog and he was an English Setter. Ollie was my first cat and he came from a local barn. My mom taught me how to care for their every need and extend that towards other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, guineas, and goats. I have walked, fed, bathed, brushed, and worked with special needs dogs, chickens, reptiles, and elderly cats. At one point I was taking care of four cats, three dogs, and twenty birds. I'm confident in my experience with animals to leave a positive impact on them. Both of my mom’s dogs are older dachshunds with special needs. I regularly dog sit a lovely miniature Australian Shephard and cat sit a Blue Russian cat on my own time. I also currently own two rats, Cheez-it, and Cake, and they love the Australian Shephard.

Vera did a great job taking care of our dog and three cats over the long holiday weekend! She was very communicative and sent lots of pics. Our dog is still recovering from ACL surgery and Vera administered lots of meds with no issues. All of the animals were comfortable and cared for when we got home 😊
Vera watched our dog Norbert at our house while we were on a week and a half and was excellent. Good communication through it all and pictures we really appreciated. Highly recommend her services.

Olivia was excellent! Faced with house sitting a former feral cat who does not respond well to unknown persons, Olivia's skills and abilities quickly resulted in her becoming Mr Kitty's best friend. Historically, we had not had a house/cat sitter that was unknown to us but her success record with previous clients and the number of times she was repeatedly selected more than once convinced us to select her. Bottom line...she demonstrated she is very trustworthy, prioritizes attention to detail and has a wonderful caring and positive attitude! Olivia was wonderful! She provided plenty of pictures and updates of Luckie while we were gone. Luckie did so well with her and she left the house clean and ready for us to come home too which was an added bonus. We would definitely book Olivia again.

Schedule
Im a recent graduate looking for work so I'm flexible at the moment. Routine is two walks a day in the morning and night. I am looking for a full time position so while I currently am able to provide full time support in the future I will be able to provide part time support.

I strive to give patience and understanding. I react to the needs of the pet or pet owner and do what needs to be done to do what will make the pet happy. My love for animals is primarily through my love of their capacity for empathy. Through my experiences I have also learned to be stern and to stand my ground with pets to work with them and to make them as comfortable as possible.
Pets
A typical day
I love to be outside, write, sing, and cook. I usually run around with dogs outside and get help with my gardening from my furry friends when they visit. When I'm hanging out with dogs I love to go on walks throughout the multiple parks and trails nearby and visit farmers markets. Special swamps with fireflies and lakes are the best places to experience.
