Hi! My name is Vera, and caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy. I know every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. When your dog stays with me, they’ll become part of the family not just another pet. I provide a calm, clean, loving home where they can relax, play, and receive plenty of one on one attention. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, I live in a beautiful, quiet, dog friendly community with plenty of sidewalks, walking paths, and green spaces. I love taking dogs on regular walks so they can get fresh air, exercise, and enjoy exploring the neighborhood safely on a leash. Vera was amazing and took great care of my dog while I was away on vacation for 10 days! I received picture mail of my fur baby almost daily and that made me feel secure while I was away~
Vera was quick to respond to our request for service and readily accommodated our need for schedule flexibility. We can tell that our sweet elderly girl Grace was very well cared for. Vera and her family are “Dog people” and it shows. I would certainly use Vera in the future and would not hesitate to recommend her services to friends or family.

Absolutely amazing! We had such a great experience and felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. She was so sweet, reliable, communicative, and treated our pups like they were her own. 🥹🐾 It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were safe, happy, and well taken care of while we were away. I had such a wonderful experience with Vera caring for both of my Yorkies! She was loving, attentive, and took excellent care of them. I can’t recommend Vera Cruz enough! She boarded my dog, Cody, for a week while I had to leave the state unexpectedly because of a family emergency. From the moment I dropped him off, she went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for. She sent me so many pictures and videos throughout the week and kept me updated every day, which gave me so much peace of mind during such a stressful time. It was clear from every update that Cody was happy, comfortable, and being treated like part of the family. To make things even more special, she celebrated Cody’s birthday for me while I was away. That thoughtful gesture meant more to me than I can express and showed just how much she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. Vera is kind, reliable, compassionate, and truly loves animals. I would trust her with Cody again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pet as if it were their own.

Schedule
I’m available throughout the week and can provide your dog with plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and daily walks. I keep a flexible schedule, allowing me to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home while you’re away.

Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live in a quiet, pet friendly community with beautiful sidewalks and walking paths that are perfect for safe, leashed walks. I provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special care they need. My goal is to create a calm, clean, loving environment where every dog feels like part of the family. I also send regular photo and video updates, so you’ll always know your furry friend is happy and well cared for.

I love spending quality time with every pet I care for. We’ll go on walks, play games, enjoy lots of affection, and have fun exploring safely. I’ll make sure your pet gets exercise, mental stimulation, fresh water, treats (if allowed), and plenty of love throughout the day.
