I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and a variety of other animals, so taking care of pets has always felt natural to me. I have a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and have often looked after my friends' pets free of charge simply because I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I understand how much our pets mean to us, and I always aim to treat them with the care, respect, and attention they deserve. It would be a privilege to work with and spend time with your pet, adapting to their unique needs and providing the best care, whether on walks or while you're away.

Velveth was great! It was a short notice booking request but she was able to accommodate and responded very quickly to booking request. Also she suggested meeting up briefly the evening before so that Monty was familiar with her. I received photos and updates while Monty was with her and I got back a very tired dog at the end of the day.
Velvet took excellent care of our wee anxious dachshund ❤️ he took to her instantly which was lovely. She shared lots of updates with us and we were happy knowing that he was in good hands 🫶🏻
Velveth was absolutely wonderful with my two dogs while I was away for the weekend through Tuesday. She sent lots of pictures and updates, which really helped me feel relaxed while I was away. The dogs clearly had a great time with her. She took them on long walks, had toys for them to play with, and even made sure my little dog finished all her food. They came home happy and settled, and I had zero issues when I got back. She was incredibly sweet, caring, and attentive, and I would absolutely trust her with my dogs again.
Velveth is lovely. Caring and genuinely considerate for an individual pets needs. Great communication, sending us pictures through the day. Would happily leave our Lab in her care again and recommend to other people. Thanks again.
Velveth was great with Kobe 😊 especially since he can be a little excitable being so young and he requires a little extra patience , but nothing was too much trouble for Velveth, she took the time to do a meet and greet prior to caring for Kobe! Very friendly and polite so I knew Kobe was in good hands while I went to work, would definitely recommend,
Velveth was excellent with my dog Hugo; she asked lots of questions to make sure she had all the information to keep Hugo safe and happy which was very reassuring, and Hugo had such a good time that when we happened to walk along her street today he headed straight for her dog and whined when I walked past

Schedule
My Daily Routine & Services I work from home, so my day is structured around the pets in my care. I offer daycare throughout the week, with a preference for boarding on weekends. I accommodate a long walk and pee breaks every 2 to 3 hours. Your pet's needs and routine are my priority, and I ensure each day is tailored to provide them with the care, attention, and exercise they require.

For Dogs Staying with Me: I ensure that your dog always has access to fresh water, and I respect their meal times, dietary needs, and portions. I focus on building trust through positive reinforcement and engaging games. For dogs that crave more physical attention, I provide plenty of cuddles, while for those that prefer space, I respect their need for comfort and allow them to explore and settle in at their own pace. I live in a spacious flat with nearby green spaces for quick potty breaks, and I’m conveniently close to both Victoria and Pilrig Parks for walks and playtime. For dogs that prefer a quieter space to explore, I’m also close to the Waters of Leith. I am happy to provide oral medication as well.
A typical day
If your dog stays for daycare or boarding, I’ll make sure their physical needs are fully met. Whether it's a longer visit to the park or a more relaxed, quiet time for pets with lower energy, I’ll adapt to their unique needs. I believe in building trust through positive reinforcement training and engaging play. Your dog’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities! For dogs that I take on walks, I provide plenty of opportunities to explore the world around them. We’ll enjoy walks that let them sniff and investigate new smells, as well as active play like fetch or Frisbee when they’re up for it. Whether they enjoy exploring or prefer a more relaxed stroll, I’ll ensure they have a fun and fulfilling experience.
