I am currently not working so I have Sunday-Saturday availability! This allows me to spend quality time and give pets the proper care they need. With that being said, I highly encourage booking with me as I have time for Meet & Greets as well! During our M&G, we will develop a care plan for your fur babies for the service you booked me for. *At this time, pick-up/drop-off available for clients within a 10-15 mile radius of Griswold, CT*

Please let me know if your fur babies have any quirks or need accommodations! Every pet is different and I want to ensure I am taking care of them to the best of my abilities.
A typical day
During the booking, I strive to ensure all pets’ needs are met! (With the permission of the parents of course). I am an active person, however I understand not every dog is! I enjoy walking or running the intense trails at Pachaug and Griswold High with high energy pups. However, for those pups that just love staying inside, I do have sniff mats, puzzle games and more that will keep your pet stimulated and engaged. For those absolute couch potato pups, I am totally okay with turning on The Walking Dead and having a binge session with them! I do have a miniature poodle named Koda that is moderate-high energy. For pups that love extra company and love to play all day, he is there to play the day away for pups that are boarded or in Doggy Day Care.

I’ve had experience taking care of animals since I was young! I often do pet care for my friends, family and coworkers as well as volunteer for local adoption agencies. I am capable of handling pets of all shapes, sizes and ages as I’ve come across them all with my experiences. I’m also equipped to handle pets with special needs. I am also certified in CPR & First Aid for Dogs & Cats, so you can trust that your family is safe in my hands.

Velvet took great care of my cat Ollie! She pays attention to details especially with his diet and kept me updated whenever she could. I would 100% want her to take care of him again as he is quiet nervous of new people but definitely seemed warmed up to her by the end!
Amazing care giving while I was out of town for business. She gave plenty of updates on how my dog was doing and some silly things he got up to
Velvet was great with my pups. One of them is very troublesome and difficult to care for. She did an amazing job taking care of her making sure she gets her insulin shot at the right time as well as guiding her around the house due to my dog being blind as well. Velvet also did a great job handling my other pup as well making sure she got plenty of exercise. There were no accidents or damaged items my dogs seem to love her and I will definitely be calling Velvet again when I need a dog sitter.
