My schedule rotates, so I have plenty of free days throughout the month - and on those days, I’m fully available and happy to dedicate the whole day to your dog. I provide two proper walks, at least an hour each (more if your pup needs it), plus games and training sessions if that’s something you’re working on. I’m also a pretty active person - I run, cycle, and hike regularly, so your dog is more than welcome to join me on those adventures. It’s honestly one of my favorite things to do with a dog.

Safety, trust & environment

!! I do not use aversive methods such as prong collars, shock collars, or any form of physical punishment !! When I take care of your dog at your home, I am meticulous about ensuring all doors and windows are securely closed to prevent any possibility of escape. I make sure your dog has an adequate supply of water and ensure they get the necessary rest to avoid overstimulation. Playtime is also a crucial part of my routine, as it helps build a trusting relationship with your dog. However, I always play in moderation to avoid overwhelming them. Additionally, I provide consistent exercise through daily walks or playtime in a fenced yard, promoting their physical health and mental stimulation. I pay close attention to their behavior and health, monitoring their eating habits, ensuring they receive nutritious meals, and scheduling regular vet check-ups to address any concerns promptly. Moreover, I establish a bond with the dogs through positive reinforcement training, teaching them basic commands and rewarding good behavior, which fosters a strong sense of trust and security. Ultimately, my dedication to their well-being, coupled with a vigilant approach to safety measures, ensures a nurturing and secure environment for the dogs under my care.

Information Vasilisa S. would like to know about your pet

It's important for me to know your dog's quirks in advance, such as fears, past incidents, and any special needs, to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for them while in my care. Please note that I’m not able to work with dogs that show aggression toward people or other animals, excessive barking, or that are not leash-trained. This helps keep everyone safe and ensures a positive experience for your pup!

A typical day

First and foremost, I learn from you what activities your dog enjoys. This might include playing fetch or tug-of-war. I can also create various games to develop their mind and attention, as well as provide environmental enrichment opportunities. I ensure that your dog receives balanced stimulation across all activities: visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, tactile, vestibular, social, and play, among others. I also make sure that your dog doesn’t get overstimulated to the point where they can’t sleep. Daytime naps are very important for dogs. At your request, I can conduct various training sessions and teach your dog new commands.

I am patient, kind and love dogs!

Pet care experience

I have been surrounded by dogs since childhood. In our family, the love for Caucasian Shepherd Dogs has been passed down through generations, and I have extensive experience in caring for puppies from birth. At the age of 12, I received a Miniature Schnauzer as a gift, with whom I trained and participated in dog shows as a handler. Currently I work as a nursing assistant at Evergreen Hospital, so caring for others, whether people or pets - is truly what I do and love. Since I can’t have my own dog right now, sitting with yours is honestly my favorite way to spend time outside of work. I use only positive reinforcement, so no stress or fear-based training, just patience. I can also accompany your pup to vet appointments, give oral medications, and I’m trained in animal first aid, so you can feel at ease leaving them with me. Your dog will be comfortable, safe, and genuinely loved. 🐾
