For pet sitting or dog walking services in my client's home, I ensure that the environment is safe and secure for the pets. This includes keeping dangerous items out of reach, ensuring there are no hazards in the home, and making sure doors and windows are secure. I also always make sure the pets have access to fresh water, food, and a comfortable place to rest. I build trust with the pets by being patient, gentle, and consistent in my interactions with them. I take the time to get to know each pet's individual needs and preferences, and I always prioritize their well-being and comfort. In terms of caring for pets in my own home, I create a comfortable and welcoming environment for them. I provide them with their own space to relax, play, and sleep, and I make sure they have access to food, water, and any necessary supplies. I follow the same principles of safety, trust, and environmental enrichment in my own home as I do in my clients' homes.
A typical day
A typical day for me includes feeding, walking, playing with, and cuddling the pets I watch. Fun activities may include trips to the park, fetch, or training sessions.
