Availability
Working from home makes it easier to be available to check on your pet often as I will structure their routine (potty breaks/eating schedule) similarly to my pup or as requested. Knowing meal time can be precious to them (and they can sometimes get feisty about food) I feed pets in separate parts of my house to make sure they have their own space to eat and not be rushed (e.g. downstairs in kitchen, upstairs with me in office)

Safety, trust & environment
- I have an unfenced backyard (which sometimes worried me when I used rover), but I will keep your dog on a leash when going for potty breaks as I have a decent sized backyard. Mine typically goes out back without a leash (because he's too scared to leave the backyard) so it will be easier for me to keep an eye on your pup on leash. If you have two dogs, I'll usually take them out one at a time. - Dogs are allowed on furniture as I have couch covers, but if you prefer they don't to maintain rules at home that's fine too. - I keep water upstairs in my room and downstairs in the kitchen, refiling as needed (mine needs it upstairs during bed time) - I have a large crate my dog used at 7 months (when he was eating everything) if needed, but don't crate unless you recommend to if I leave the house to run an errand. Depending on temperament, I can keep dogs separate when I'm out by keeping mine upstairs and putting up a doggy gate while yours is downstairs.

Have Peace of Mind While Away
Pet care experience
- I've been trusted by my own friends/neighbors for 5+ years to watch their fur babies - As a rover user myself, I understand the anxious feeling searching for a sitter because I've worried if someone is going to watch my own pup with as much carefulness/concern as I have (e.g. making sure he doesn't accidentally eat something he’s not suppose to, taken out on leash as a safety precaution, has enough water throughout the day) - I have experience providing oral medicine as instructed/scheduled - My almost 7 year old springer spaniel and his friends love attention and require tons of pets/belly scratches/snuggles. Working from home makes this easier as I can be attentive as needed with your pup - As a Rover user, consistent updates gave me peace of mind while away. Know that I will be available to provide updates 3x a day (or more if you don't mind) and will make sure to care for your pet at your comfort level (if you need me to take them for walks multiple times a day, prefer they lounge, or would like for me to take them to my neighborhood dog park)
