Furry Kids Favorite Babysitter

I have worked with puppy’s, potty training, kitten litter box training, training cats to refrain from scratching furniture. I’ve worked with all breeds of dogs, (Pitbulls, Cane Corsos, Miniature Poodles) I do not have a sense of smell, hahaha (from a car accident over 20 years ago) so cleaning litter boxes or picking up doggy potty doesn’t bother me!

House Sitting • Mar 08, 2025

We couldn't be happier with the care & communication provided by Vanessa. She went above & beyond for our fur baby. Nary a day went by w/o a picture of blurb from this wonderful woman. We came home to a happy pooch & spotless house. Vanessa is our go-to gal for all of our future out of town trips that we can't take Miss Murphy Quinn on.

I can’t say enough good things about this gal. She’s funny, smart and a very caring person. Vanessa has house sit for us and cared for our dog and two cats. We fully trust her with our home and with our furry family. Her love for animals is very evident because our pets love her. She would be an asset to any family looking for a trustworthy and loving care taker.

Vanessa is a delight! She has been apart of our furry family for over 5 years. We have an American Pitbull, Boogz, who had a liter of 11 this past July! Without her, I don't know how we would've handled it. Trustworthy, clean, goes the extra mile! highly recommend Michelle & Michael

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets. I’m “that neighbor” who takes care of all the stray cats, haha. I work from home as a freelance writer and artist therefore have a very flexible schedule. I also have a 9 year old who lives with me half the week and his father half the week. Thankfully, we coparent beautifully and work with each other’s schedules.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I do believe it takes a lot of stress off of your pet not having to leave their environment. They are already feeling the stress having “their person” away so I find it’s best for the animal having a sitter in the environment they’re already used to. I follow whatever your routine is in the home. Only exception would be if you’re seeking additional behavior training . When I train, in a way I treat the animals as if they’re toddlers. There’s a reward system.

A typical day

Tug of war I think is the best way to bond with any breed of dog. In addition, playing fetch is another favorite! Both activities bond the animal as well has provide exercise.
