In my own home, dogs will always be on a leash when outside and separated from my own dogs unless requested by the client, making sure that any potentially hazardous objects are put away (foods, plants, etc.). In the clients home, making sure that the area is secure and following the requests and rules of the client in their home.

if the dog has any medical conditions or allergies I need to be aware of, whether the dog is dog/people/child aggressive, any behavioral concerns, food preferences, house trained, etc. No breed preferences, I have experience with all breeds of dogs, but the breeds that I will only accept on a case by case basis are German Shepherds and Rottweilers

Walking, running, playing, agility, any activity that is specific to the dog or that the owner requests, mostly just making sure they are well taken care of and happy!

Hello! my name is Vanessa. I have been a dog/pet sitter for over 15 years now. I have experience with animals ranging from dogs (especially), cats, small animals, and horses. I am also a certified groomer, and have been working as a groomer for 12 years now, so I have plenty of safety training as well for handling animals. I absolutely love caring for animals and making them feel safe and comfortable, and I know how important it is to leave your animal in the care of someone you can trust. I currently live on a farm with ability to care for dogs in my home, but I do prefer doing in home overnights or daycare at the client's house, due to my own dogs and horses. I am willing to provide most services including daily care, walking (or running), overnights, etc. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs and elderly dogs as well. I understand the responsibility that I undertake when I am trusted to take care of another person's pet, and I will always do the absolute most to make sure I am providing the best care possible. Taking care of animals gives me so much joy, and I would love to be able to provide you with a great service!

DON’T HESITATE - Book her! We couldn’t have been happier with leaving our two dogs with Vanessa. She was timely and updated us with pictures daily for the entire week we were away. We really lucked out in finding her to watch our dogs! We knew they were well cared for and in good hands with her. She helped socialize them with her other animals and also took them on many adventures! As added bonus, our dogs were groomed when we came back and she was Beyond reasonable for the grooming fees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We will be using her again!
Vanessa has taken great care of both of my dogs, Daisy (yorkie/bichon mix) and Louie (cairn terrier). As a dog owner that lived alone for a long time, having someone you can trust to watch your best little friend while you’re away is a complete lifesaver!! Would highly recommend!!
