I work from home which is an ideal set up for your fur baby! Your dog(s) and I frequently get walks in my breaks, and they never spend too much time alone. There are times where I crate the dogs during the day, or gate them off, to reduce noise and things during my calls. My neighborhood is near a few parks, so if you have a baby who loves dog parks, they can get time there (weather permitting)! For pick up and drop off requests, $1/mile is charged. $10 flat fee when you are in a 10 mile radius!

We have ample space for activity in our home with a big backyard (fencing pending). My neighborhoods also have access to a lot of play and exercise space for dogs which makes it the perfect vacation! I keep toys out in a bin for dogs to grab as needed. I reward with treats and encourage respectful, well mannered behavior. I constantly send updates by pictures, videos and texts. I know it’s important to know how your baby is doing. In your home, I’m happy to handle small, helpful tasks like grabbing mail, pulling trash to the curb, etc. I normally bring my own personal items and groceries to accommodate me during my stay. I can stay in a guest room or sleep at my own home. I leave any spaces used as clean as I found them.

Additional fees will apply for any damage or destruction caused by your dog (price to be determined by item destroyed). Additional fees will also apply for dogs that frequently urinate, poop, bleed of destroy things inside of the home ($10/day). Let me know your dog’s feeding schedule, any anxiety or special care instructions. I also prefer that you send your dog with a bowl as I find many dogs don’t like to eat if it isn’t there normal feeding bowl.

I’ve been around animals and had pets in my childhood home. We didn’t discriminate. At different points and ages, we had a fish, turtle, hamsters, dogs and cats. Dogs easily became my favorite though. In 2011, we got our first family dog, Laney, and I’ve enjoyed such a soft spot in my heart for dogs since! Family has always relied on me to watch their pets, and over the last 8-10 years, dogs have been the primary. They always tell me, “you take the best care of our dogs/house when we’re gone, I can’t even lie”. Like c’mon- duh!

Vanessa was awesome! It was our first time boarding our puppy and she was so patient with her! We went through a family tragedy and she was so kind. 100% would recommend!
Vanessa watched our two pups under less than ideal circumstances (our house is mid-remodel) over a holiday weekend she shared frequent updates the dogs and home were well cared for. She is wonderful!
