In 2013, I began offering boarding and daycare with DogVacay, remaining available to my family, and Rover “inherited” me during their 2017 acquisition. As our children trickled out of the nest, house sitting was introduced to my line of services, and now I’m blessed to provide organized care for 90+ regular Manatee and Sarasota clients today. House sitting allows me to better serve our community on a personal level, with a focus on special breeds, and special needs.💕

🐾 A lifelong pet parent, having satisfied hundreds of reservations with several dozen repeat and regular clients, I'm experienced and comfortable administering meds (Subq, topical, eyes, ears, and oral), pre-op & post-op pets, and visits with the vet. There are no additional charges for routine or preventative treatment at home.

This was my first experience with Vanessa, and she will now be my go-to when she’s available. Her portfolio speaks for itself, but she was simply AMAZING during my house sitting stay. I could tell my dog loved her from the meet and greet to the pictures Vanessa sent while I was away. I trust her completely with my dog and my house in her care. She kept the place clean and washed bedding on her last day. I can’t wait for her and Izzy to spend time together again!
Vanessa is great! My pups love her and were clearly comfortable and happy when she pet sat for a week while we were out of town. She was communicative, provided great end of day reports with pictures, and quick to respond. House was in pristine condition when we returned.

This is our second time using Vanessa for care for our kitties! They were strays originally so they are extremely nervous and scared around new people. Vanessa is so patient with them and really understands their needs. She sent tons of pictures and got them to come out and play and eat treats several times. It was so great knowing our babies were taken such good care of while we were away on our trip. We will be so happy to recommend Vanessa to anyone needing exceptional pet care!

💗 Having the travel bug myself, I can appreciate the importance of securing a loving sitter with whom our pets are well-kept. LONG-TERM WELCOME. SHORT NOTICE OK. 🎅🏻 This sitter does not participate in Rover’s increased “holiday rates” for your reservation. 💝 A CDL holder with a background in mobility support and home‑based elder care up north, I’m grateful to offer respite without stepping away from a long‑standing passion for cage‑free pet care. Maintaining daily routines, providing hot meals, appointment transport, companionship, and planned activities, 9am to 1pm, or 2pm to 6pm. $40 up to 5 miles. 🛠️ Need someone to sit for an inspection, service install, or signed delivery? I may be available 9am to 1pm, or 2pm to 6pm, $40 up to 5 miles.
