Hi! I’m Vanessa, and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile! Taking care of animals is one of the most rewarding parts of my life, and I’d love to care for your furry family member. Originally from Brazil, I’ve been living in the Netherlands for the past six years. I now live in Apeldoorn after spending three years in Amsterdam. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for puppies, senior pets, rescue dogs, reactive dogs, and many wonderful cats, each with their own unique personality and needs. I truly enjoy getting to know every pet as an individual and helping them feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision. That’s why I treat every pet and every home with kindness, respect, and responsibility, just as I would hope someone would treat mine. My priority is to give your pet the love and attention they deserve while giving you complete peace of mind. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your furry friend is happy and doing well. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that you can return home to a happy pet and a well-cared-for home. A few details about my services: • I happily provide house sitting throughout the Netherlands wherever the location is reasonably accessible by public transport. Having lived in both Amsterdam and Apeldoorn, I’m comfortable traveling to care for pets in different parts of the country. For bookings that require travel by public transport, I kindly ask that travel expenses are covered by the pet owner. I’m always happy to discuss the expected travel costs with you in advance so everything is clear before confirming the booking. • Dog walking and drop-in visits are available locally around Apeldoorn, where I can easily travel by bike. • I always like to arrange a short meet-and-greet beforehand so we can get to know each other, meet your pet, and make sure we are a great match. For meet-ups outside my local area, I kindly ask that travel expenses are covered. A quick note about Rover’s pricing: Rover may automatically add significant extra charges for additional pets. I don’t always agree with how these fees are calculated, so please don’t be discouraged by the total price shown in the app. I’m always happy to discuss your pet’s needs and find a fair price that works well for everyone. I keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being, providing plenty of affection, playtime, and care to make them feel safe and loved. I also communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether it’s maintaining a calm, familiar atmosphere or adapting to a pet’s unique needs, I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would for my own.

Vanessa really knows how to handle pet’s different personalities and needs. She is super reliable and always goes the extra mile to make sure our pets are well taken care of. I can't recommend enough.
Vanessa took wonderful care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Each picture she sent showed Freya was relaxed and happy and safe. Our dog is a bit anxious in public and when we picked her up Freya and Vanessa were relaxing together in the park. Vanessa was very responsive to us and caring to our dog and I would definitely book her again next time we need to leave Freya.
Vanessa was so sweet with the dogs, kind and caring. I’ve never seen my dogs getting along with someone like they go with her. She’s still visiting them to this this day. :)
Vanessa has always been al loving helper for our baby's. She gave a lot off cuddle's and always looked after there needs. She is very fond of animals and dogs in perticular.

Aside from my Dutch classes, my time is dedicated to ensuring every pet I care for gets the love and attention they need.
