Your pet’s safety is always my first priority. I maintain a calm, secure environment and pay close attention to details like locked gates, leash checks, and hydration during walks. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, triggers, and comfort levels so that every interaction feels safe and positive. I’m also comfortable following special care instructions for pets with medical or behavioral needs, including anxious, anxiety, nervousness, skittishness, and reactivity, including dogs who may seem aggressive at first but are simply scared or unsure. You can count on me for honesty, communication, and dependable care, every single visit. For house sitting stays, I kindly ask that the guest bedroom and bathroom be clean and ready for my arrival, fresh linens, tidy surfaces, and clear space. This helps me provide the best care for your pet throughout the stay.

Vanessa was incredible and took great care of our nervous dog while we were away for 10 days. Our initial dog sitter fell through the day before we were going to leave, and she responded immediately to our initial message and was over to meet him and us within two hours. He is a recent rescue and very nervous with strangers, but she introduced herself to him with great care, understanding, and professionalism. I was very anxious about leaving him, especially with such a last-minute change in our plans, but after meeting her, I felt completely reassured that he would be in great hands, which he was! She sent multiple updates with pictures a day, and our sweet boy looked like he was having the time of his life going on walks and sniffing all the flowers and grass he wanted. We greatly appreciate that she respected his boundaries and let him warm up to her on his own timeline. She also left our house spotless. We will definitely rebook her for future trips if she is available!
We hit the jackpot with Vanessa!! She is such a compassionate , dependable and knowledgeable dog sitter. She gave us pictures and updates throughout the weekend. We highly recommend her.

She followed our instructions to the T and followed through on everything! Vanessa went above and beyond with our dogs! She stayed at our house for a week to dog sit while we went on vacation. When we had to move our flight up a day because of an impending snow storm, Vanessa was more than happy to come a night early to accommodate the change. Our flight home also got in late, and she stayed late to make sure our dogs weren’t alone for more than a couple of hours and even took them on a final walk before heading out! We received daily updates (several a day + photos!), and our dogs looked so happy in every photo. When we got home, our house was very tidy! I’m so happy we found Vanessa and will 1000% be booking her again. She is the best!
