Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 9 years of pet sitting experience and 6 years of professional experience working with cats and dogs in shelters and boarding facilities. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including senior and special-needs pets that require medication or extra care. I’m currently a psychology student and single mom earning extra income doing something I genuinely love. Occasionally I may need to bring my children with me during visits or walks — they are respectful, gentle with animals, and have grown up around pets their whole lives. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I’ll always treat your pets like family and do my best to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away!

I like to keep the routine as close to the same as possible for the pets I care for. If they have special things that they are used to, I don’t mind taking the extra time to do them!

Vanessa is gentle with and attentive to the cats. Her experience is invaluable for our aging felines. Last winter Charlie had serious health issues. We were confident that Vanessa would handle any irregularities---and she did. They had her care for over 2 weeks. Thank you, so much, Vanessa!
Vanessa took great care of our kitties. She gave insulin shots as well as playing with them, feeding them, and cleaning up after them. She sent lots of pictures and left messages about how they were doing. We couldn't ask for a better sitter.

Can’t say enough good things! We will definitely have Vanessa watch our critters again! She contacted us multiple times a day with updates. She sent us photos of playtime and let us know about anything we needed to be aware of! Our animals were very comfortable

Schedule
I am currently a full-time online student and single mother. My schedule is fairly flexible. There are times when my kids will have to accompany me. They know how to behave around animals.
