Hello! I’m a Veterinary Assistant currently working with a mobile veterinary surgeon, and I have several years of experience in general practice veterinary hospitals. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, chickens, and a variety of pocket pets. I’m especially experienced with animals who have special needs, including medication administration, behavioral or training support, and other individualized care requests. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority!

I care for every animal as if they were my own. I’m trained in animal first aid, CPR, and a wide range of medication administration. I’m also Fear Free Certified for both veterinary and pet professionals, ensuring a low stress, compassionate experience for every pet in my care.

We recently moved to the area and this was our first time using Rover. Vanessa was great. She communicated with us regularly and sent daily updates of the dogs which was very reassuring. She left the house clean as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would book with Vanessa again.

Vanessa took great care of our two pups while we were away on a long weekend. She went above and beyond to make them feel safe and comfortable. They are normally very wary of strangers but warmed up to her quickly. She’s communicative, respectful and reliable. She even watched our pups for an extra night when we unexpectedly had to deal with a medical emergency. Highly recommend her. We’ll be booking her for future care. :)
