I have a safe secure house with a fenced section of garden for dogs to use. I love to meet and greet initially so that I can get get a feel for your dog and discuss your personal requirements with regard to routine, feeding, sleeping etc.

What breed of dog you have and its temperament (Small to medium breeds only) Please inform me of any allergies or habits your dog may have. I do not take dogs who suffer separation anxiety as it affects my own dogs.

I have great parks nearby to take dogs for a good run. At the weekends my husband and I also like to take dogs to Felixstowe beach (weather permitting) and walks along the marina, Rover Orwell or River Gipping for a change of scenery.

As a former dog groomer my life revolves around the care of dogs. I have been brought up with dogs and various animals and am now in a fortunate position to open my home to look after your precious dog/s and offer them a home from home in a safe environment. I only book in 1 dog (or 2 from the same family) at any one time so there is no comprise on yours dogs care. I have two dogs of my own; a Cockerpoo and Pug-zu and they are well socialised as I would like your dog to be. I live in Ipswich in the immediate vicinity of great parks and the marina meaning dogs in my care will get a choice of walks providing all the exercise they need. Plus plenty of cuddles and attention! I live with my husband and grown up son who are also dog lovers.

Another great stay with Vanessa! (About our fifth stay with her now) Our dog had a few minor health niggles at the start of the stay and Vanessa took such amazing care of her. Absolutely went above and beyond. Our girl absolutely loves staying with her.
About the 5th or 6th time we’ve used Vanessa. She’s very reliable and we always feel confident our girl is in safe hands. Highly recommended.
Vanessa was great! Boo was a little under the weather whilst she was away but Vanessa kept us up to date and her experience and care showed. Boo came back very happy.
Luna had such a great time staying with Vanessa last week, had good walks and lovely photos were sent to us, a special thanks to Vanessa for looking after Luna as she had a bad leg for first part of the week, would use Vanessa again thankyou
