Hi, I'm Vanessa! I grew up in NYC surrounded by all kinds of pets—cats, hamsters, turtles, snakes, and more—but cats have always had a special place in my heart. I'm a lifelong cat mom (currently to my sweet munchkin Wyatt, and my gorgeous girl Bella (rest in peace my beautiful girl)) and have lots of hands-on experience with cats of all personalities and needs. I've been cat sitting for friends and family for many years. I’ve also spent over 4 years volunteering with cats at the Best Friends Lifesaving Center and previously at ACC as a cat care volunteer and adoption matchmaker. I've also worked with feral cat rescues and hold a Fear Free Shelters certification. I also care for dogs as well! I've been walking dogs at Best Friends for the past 6 months, and have cared for friends' dogs in the past. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and giving them the love and care they deserve!

Whether it’s a playful kitten/puppy, a shy senior, or a pet with behavioral quirks, I’m patient, respectful, and always move at their pace—building trust one gentle interaction at a time. When I care for your pet, I treat them like family. I’ll make sure they’re fed, their litter is clean, bowls are washed, and—most importantly—they get plenty of affection, enrichment, and attention. I tailor each visit to your pet's unique pussonality and energy level, and I’m happy to provide regular photo/video updates so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

Vanessa is absolutely amazing. She has cared for my two cats multiple times. She’s attentive, thorough, and caring. When one of my cats got sick while she was watching him, she kept me updated comprehensively. I am very appreciative of her - hard to find a cat sitter this great!

Schedule
This started as a side job, but has quickly become my full-time career! My schedule is very flexible. I bike everywhere, so even if you are not in the immediate LES area, I can easily reach you!
