Hi, I'm Vanessa! I grew up in NYC surrounded by all kinds of pets—cats, hamsters, turtles, snakes, and more—but cats have always had a special place in my heart. I'm a lifelong cat mom (currently to my sweet munchkin Wyatt!) and have lots of hands-on experience with cats of all personalities and needs. I've been cat sitting for friends and family for many years. I’ve also spent over 4 years volunteering with cats at the Best Friends Lifesaving Center and previously at ACC as a cat care volunteer and adoption matchmaker. I've also worked with feral cat rescues and hold a Fear Free Shelters certification. I also care for dogs as well! I've been walking dogs at Best Friends for the past 6 months, and have cared for friends' dogs in the past. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and giving them the love and care they deserve!

When I care for your pet, I treat them like family. I’ll make sure they’re fed, their litter is clean, bowls are washed, and—most importantly—they get plenty of affection, enrichment, and attention. I tailor each visit to your pet's unique pussonality and energy level, and I’m happy to provide regular photo/video updates so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

Vanessa was amazing once again! This was my second time using her, and she took such great care of Luna. She was very communicative throughout the visit and even helped give Luna her medication, which I really appreciated. It’s such a relief knowing Luna is in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend!

Vanessa was absolutely incredible! Both of my cats have medical needs and she was not only able to handle the medications but she went above and beyond to care for them and to communicate with me. I came back to 2 perfectly happy cats which shows me she made them feel plenty loved while I was gone.

Schedule
I'm currently unemployed, so my schedule is very flexible. I am looking for full-time work, so if that happens I will still be available mornings, evenings and weekends, and will provide the same quality care to your fur baby. I bike everywhere, so even if you are not in the immediate LES area, I can easily reach you!
