Not a day has passed in my life that I have not had a pet, whether that be a dog, cat, betta fish, hamster, and guinea pigs. Walking, playing, feeding accordingly, providing fresh water, and maintaining the cleanliness of their areas (including poop duty) are the main (but not limited to) daily responsibilities I provide to my pets and can extend to yours. Petting and cuddles are an extra bonus. My pets' health and happy life brings me purpose and joy. I enjoy getting to know their separate personalities and am in tune to any shifts in behavioral changes. Specifically, all of my cats have lived long lives (19+), so I am familiar with everything from kitten to senior cat care, which includes providing medicine. I am always eager to learn, research, and adjust myself for a pet that needs specific care and meeting them where they are at in their development/life stage. My patient, loving, and calm demeanor is usually acknowledged and reflected back by animals. I have never met a pet that has not liked me and vice versa. My schedule, at the moment, is semi flexible. I would love to build a rapport with owners and their furry companions to provide them with the care they need and follow any specific instructions provided by the owner. If I am not in your area by a little bit, please reach out and I may be able to accommodate traveling further. Furthermore, I've limited my visits per day, but please reach out even if my calendar says full because I may be able to make adjustments to accommodate more.

I have 1 dog and 2 cats who rule the house with a fenced in yard. I am able to follow directions provided by the client to ensure their pet is safe and well taken care of.

Absolutely Amazing Dog Sitter! 🐾❤️ We have had the pleasure of having Vanessa watch our dog, Atticus, twice now, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she has given him! She has been absolutely wonderful and is, without a doubt, the best dog sitter we’ve had. Atticus absolutely loves having her around! She goes above and beyond by brushing him, giving him plenty of playtime and attention, and making sure he is happy and well cared for while we’re away. She also sends us lots of great pictures and updates, which we really appreciate because it gives us peace of mind knowing exactly how he’s doing. It’s so comforting to be able to leave town knowing Atticus is in such great hands. She is reliable, caring, attentive, and genuinely treats him like her own. Vanessa provided excellent care to our kitty while we were away. This was our first time using Rover and our first time going on a long trip since getting our cat Daisy. Vanessa eased our worries by making sure Daisy was properly taken care of. Vanessa was kind, patient, and a great communicator. Will definitely rebook her in the future!
Vanessa was wonderful for our trip to Eugene. I love the pictures she posted of our pups while she took them out. It really saved us when we’re gone all day to have her get Cedar and Sophie out for a potty break. This was our second time using her while in the area on our rv trip and she was prompt and reliable.

Schedule
I currently work an 8 to 5 Monday thru Friday. I'm available early mornings before work and evenings after during the work week, but am available dusk till dawn on weekends.
