Veterinary/Boarding experienced and always ready for anything! -About Me- I have worked as a Veterinarian Assistant and Boarding Attendant for over 7 years and a few of those years at an emergency animal hospital. I have also worked as an Animal Care Attendant at an Animal Shelter and a zoo. I last worked at An Animal Hospital in La Quinta as a boarding manager and lead. Along with animal volunteer work on the side of course. I’ve always had a passion for working around animals of all shapes and sizes and I’ve worked with just about every breed and most species. I currently work for the county of riverside in animal services. I strongly believe pets are more than just animals, they’re family and responsible pet care and owner communication is in my highest regards. I’m trained in pet handling/behavior and I understand/respect between people and pet. I personally have an energetic Australian Shepherd and a calm and cool Calico kitty (best of both worlds) who are both my world and do great together. They keep me going and for that I have a deep understanding of the connection between pet and pet parent. Being able to work with animals as much as possible is a blessing

My pets stay indoors with me. They are house trained and able to go about the home as they please. I do have amazing opportunities to bring in fosters or pets for re-homing which comes with needing to maintain structured separation and/or needing to gate off certain aspects of the home. I’m familiar with different personalities, bubbles, and behavior and I’m equipt to instinctively know the differences as an animal handler. I care for all pets like my own and I do encourage positive reinforcement and engage in any training opportunities that I can. My Australian shepherd is in constant training mode due to his high energy instincts so it is apart of my daily routine and training can definitely be a great add on to my services.

Schedule
I am currently free for drop in visits due to my full time hours with the county of riverside. I am very flexible and can always make something work for you and your baby’s needs.
