Walking techniques include sit and stay commands as well an array of different commands during sitting/drop ins to ensure parent/pet relationship stays healthy. As for my experience, I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. 🐶🐱

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and familiar environment for them. I stick to the pet’s routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and rest at their usual times. I ensure their living space is tidy, and I make sure to follow any special instructions for medication or behavior. I also make sure to send regular updates and pictures so pet parents can feel reassured that their furry friends are in good hands. Most importantly, I treat their home and pets with the utmost respect, providing them with a stress-free experience while they’re away.

This is my first time using Rover and I'm so grateful I found Vanessa. I have an old blind, Australian Cattle Dog with a heart condition who is selective with people and dogs. He warmed up to Vanessa quickly during our meet and greet, and I fully trusted him in her care. We also have a cat who quickly fell in love her. Vanessa was a great listener as I outlined my dog's quirks, and asked if she could take videos of how I administer the medication etc. to keep his routine as normal as possible. She was professional, great at communication, quick to respond, and arrived on time (actually early). A couple of days before we left, I asked her to come earlier than the proposed time and she was able to accommodate that no problem. The house was left in great condition - the animals were happy and safe, and I will definitely book Vanessa again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our pack!
Vanessa was so kind and flexible with us as our plans shifted. She took great care of our puppy Tulip and our home. We look forward to working with her again soon!
Vanessa did in home care for our 12 week old puppy. It was his first time being away from both of his caretakers. He was nervous at first but she knew how to build his trust and coached us on how to introduce him to her as well. She is knowledgeable and patient! She is accommodating and respectful to certain requests we made for guests in our home and she is on-time for every booking. I highly recommend!
Vanessa was great! Had a last minute care request and she was so friendly, communicative, and did an awesome job with my dog. Would recommend!!
What can you say about Vanessa besides the fact that she is amazing. On less than a day’s notice, she was kind enough to do a meet and greet and then house sit my pup for the week. Vanessa is extremely communicative and helpful. You’ll never have to guess about the status of your pup or home when she’s around. I felt extremely comfortable with her in my home and she even left it cleaner than she found it. I would recommend Vanessa to all of my friends and book her services again any time.
Vanessa has become my go-to dog walker for Patina. Recently I went on a long trip and Vanessa not only took Patina on afternoon walks around downtown, she also made sure that Patina had enough food and water in her bowls. Before their walks, Vanessa gave her massages and cuddles which Patina absolutely loves! I highly recommend Vanessa! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
