SW London Dog Sitter 🐾
I have always loved dogs. I grew up playing with my extended family’s dogs in the city, and with herding dogs in the countryside. In summer 2023, I boarded my friend’s dog, a lagotto romagnolo, for the first time. Since then, I have looked after cockapoos, maltipoos, bordoodles, dachshunds, golden retrievers, and rescue dogs, aged between 6 months and 12 years, for time periods ranging from 2 days to 3 weeks. This allowed me to gain experience with different breeds and needs… while waiting to be able to have my own dog! This year (2026), I have a part-time office job, from Monday to Friday, during mornings. I’m generally available to dog sit in the afternoons and evenings, as well as over weekends.

Amazing sitter our dog loved her! Being a GSP Coco requires a lot of exercise and Vanessa ensured that she was well and truly exhausted at the end of the day. She also kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos so we were totally at ease leaving our furry baby in her care.
We used Vanessa when we went out of town. Vanessa is very professional. First-she cared for our dog like it was her own. Took her on walks, made sure she was having fun and doing what our dog was comfortable with in terms of activities. Clearly Vanessa is very fond of pets. Second--she is also very reliable She came early before we left for our trip, asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood our dog's needs, and communicated frequently while we travelled sending photos and videos of what our dog had been up to. We will use her again and recommend her without reservation for daily care or longer.
Vanessa boarded my dog, Zazu, for 3 days while I was abroad and she was absolutely fantastic! She sent regular updates with videos and pictures, and did everything possible to make Zaz as comfortable as possible. This included playing a lot of games with her, comforting her when she had some trouble sleeping, and keeping her exercised and stimulated throughout the day! Vanessa is super responsible and her love of animals really shines through in her work as a pet-sitter, I would absolutely recommend her. Zaz developped a great rapport with Vanessa over the days is really looking forward to her next time staying over!

Schedule
Schedule: I have a part-time office job, 4 hours a day, from Monday to Friday. I’m generally available to dog sit in the afternoons and evenings, as well as during weekends. I need a few days notice for scheduling purposes.

Meet and greet: I would first meet you and your dog, and ask you about your dog's routine, behavior, likes and dislikes, before agreeing to any booking. Dog sitting: I can look after your dog at your home while you are away. I would feed them, take them out for walks, and play with them. I would also send you regular updates, with pictures and videos. Dog boarding: I’m happy to board dogs that are well-trained and that I get along with at my home. I live in a first floor flat with its own entrance and private patio.
A typical day
- Walk in Hyde Park and/or surrounding neighborhoods - Train (sit, stay, paw shake, high five, roll over, etc) - Play games (ball, tug of war, hide and seek, shell game, etc) - Go to dog-friendly places (restaurants, shops)
