I love dogs and have been lucky to have pets growing up! I have two dogs, a Samoyed named Luna, that is well socialized and trained, and a friendly golden retriever named Dug! I live with my 7 year old, 5 year old and husband. So I am watching dogs that are children friendly. Our family will treat your dog like family! I have flexible time in my schedule on weekends and holiday breaks. I know the importance of having someone you can trust with your dear pet. It is good for you to know that I am a teacher at a public school and I have had all background checks and fingerprinting done. I am friendly, organized and reliable :). I like to keep owners connected and will take pictures and videos to bring you peace of mind!

I cannot say enough good things about Vanessa! It’s nothing like the peace of mind of leaving your loved pet with a loving caring sitter while you are away. Vanessa is just wonderful. From her pristine home to her loving caring attitude towards your pet, she deserves 10 stars! 5 doesn’t do justice! My family and I are so thankful to Vanessa. Our baby Millie stayed with her for eight days and she was always full of smiles in many photos and videos Vanessa sends and she had a great time. We had to extend Millie’s stay due to a family member’s illness and Vanessa was so kind and accommodating to us. We are so thankful we found her and this is going to be a long partnership as long as Vanessa will have us! Thank you from Millie and my family for taking such great care of our Millie!
Vanessa and her family were the best care givers for our golden ! I was updated daily with photos and videos. He didn’t have any problems eating and drinking which means he was very comfy and happy in the home. The children played with him. He came home very happy, it actually took a little pushing of the tush to get him out the door because he loved it there so much. You would not be disappointed if you chose this family to watch your pet!
Vanessa and her family were amazing. They cared for my Sophie like she was there own.

Vanessa and her family were wonderful. We received lots of photo’s and videos of Lilly’s overnight stay. We will definitely use Vanessa again.
Vanessa and family were amazing!!! Our little boy didn’t want to leave them! Vanessa is so communicative and I felt so much better being away with all the videos and photos. It was an amazing experience with an amazing family!

Schedule
I provide care for dogs through playtime, walks, feedings and lots of love and affection. I am a public school teacher and have availability on weekends, school calendar holidays and seasonal breaks. If you choose to have your dog watched during a normal work week. I will be able to attend to the dogs on my lunch break. I watch a maximum of 2 dogs at a a time unless there is a daycare or transition day situation.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide a clean home with no smoking. My house gets cleaned biweekly by professionals. I have a 6 foot PVC fence enclosing my backyard and plenty of space for play and exercise. *I have an in-ground swimming pool (not fenced) that the dogs have access to. I also have cameras outdoors and indoors.

A typical day
I will follow any directions and preferences left for me. I can take your dog for a walk or jog. I can play fetch or provide your dog with plenty of love and cuddle. Whatever your dog enjoys, sounds good to my family and me!

- I would like to know the things that bring the dog joy and things that might make them wary. Every dog has its preferences and I would like to make them feel comfortable and have them trust me. I also need to make sure that your dog is kid friendly and up to date on all vaccines! My daughters are very careful with our dog Luna and treat her with respect and give her space, but I need to ensure their safety as well. As precaution: I cannot watch dogs that are possessive of food/toys or show aggression. Thank you!
