"A pet is the only thing on earth that loves you more than it loves itself." Hi, I'm Vanessa and I'm the type of person that says hi to dogs and cats! I've loved all furry and scaly friends since I was very small. I took that passion and became a Certified Veterinary Technician where I give all the TLC needed to heal our little friends and speak for those without voices. I'm currently working in general practice, specialized in dermatological veterinary medicine, and have 3 years of veterinary ER experience. I have been fully trained to administer CPR, subcutaneous injections, oral medications, and many more skills. I am able to keep you fully in the know if I feel your pet isn't acting the way it should and is of medical concern to me. I have helped families recognize pets in pain, respiratory concerns, dietary issues, and gastrointestinal concerns to name a few. I am also quite familiar with nervous and timid energies from working in the vet field and can recognize when I need to give your furbabe some space and time to acclimate as well. Respect goes far with everyone and everything! I am not comfortable doing 30 minute or 60 minute walks with pets May through October due to the high temperatures we experience. I don't want to invite trouble when it comes to heat exhaustion and burning dogs' paw pads on scorching cement. **I offer nail trims, anal gland expressions, DVM prescribed subcutaneous fluid administration, and oral/subcutaneous medication administration. We can discuss further at meetup.**

I currently am not able to facilitate pet sitting in my home, however I can definitely follow any instruction needed while in your home! If you would like me to crate them, certain feeding regimens, turn on the TV for them to watch before I leave, if there are medications to be given, etc I got you. Love and respect is absolutely my priority. I understand cats' need for trusting and calming energy along with dog's need for belly rubs and being told what a good boy/girl they are! I would fully enjoy sending you photo and video updates. I also love playtime with their favorite toys and don't at all mind an extra snuggle sesh while I'm with them or watching them in your home!

Super Vanessa - Spoiled my little Sassie Frass as usual. We were gone extra long 9 days ! I couldn't believe it - I didn't worry ... We got home and all was Great ! I got many happy dog pictures too ! Thanks for having such a great way with my fussy Eskimo Dog !
Vanessa took EXTRA good care of Sassie Frass !!! Sassie got sick and Vanessa got medicine for her in pill form and gave it to her in her meals. She walked her and babied her! Sassie is happy and looking for Vanessa and still is looking for her days later. She is truly an asset to our home !!!
Vanessa is great with Sassie ! She doesn't really like anyone but my husband and I. But..........she loves her some Vanessa! We are so lucky to have found her. When I travel with out Sassie I am at peace knowing she is taken such good care of !!!

Vanessa you are really attentive to my Saissies needs. When we came home from a 5 day trip Sassie is still looking for you. She lays by the front door waiting for you. Also, she is now more disciplined. She is minding better and when we say no or stop barking she does. Remarkable difference. Thanks Vanessa !
Vanessa truly cares about my Sassie Frass ! She has put up with a lot this time with her having a tummy ache including accidents. I love all her emails and pictures during her stay. I will be hiring her always from now on, Sassie wouldn't have it any other way.

Schedule
I am available for house sitting any day of the week and drop ins on my days off since I cannot accommodate on days I work my 10 hour shifts. I do my best to respond as promptly as possible and I greatly appreciate your patience and trust in my services.
