Growing up I was always surrounded by dogs, especially my Golden Retriever and my neighbor’s Australian Shepard. I have been volunteering with Friends of Homeless Animals since I was in high school; I would take them all home with me if I could! My experience has given me a deep understanding of pets' needs; I've crate trained and housebroken puppies, and I've been there for older pups who need a little extra care. I adore all breeds, and I love seeing their personalities shine as we get to know each other. I believe my love for animals and hands-on experience make me a unique and compassionate pet sitter. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend(s) 🐾

I will always be flexible and accommodating to you and your pet's needs. I make sure to stick to the preferred schedule for walks, feeding times, and any special requirements they might have. Communication is key, so I will always keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how your pet is doing. Safety is the top priority, so having your vet's contact information handy is a must. I have a vehicle that can be used for both emergencies and non emergencies— though your pet probably considers getting a pup cup an emergency lol. Anything not discussed during our initial meet will get your approval before moving forward.

Great experience!
Vanessa took great care of our puppy pretzel over the weekend. She was communicative and proactive with letting us know how everything was going. She also took great care of our home! Even when we had flight delays, causing us to get back several hours later, she offered to come back and take pretzel for an extra walk! I would definitely recommend Vanessa for any pet owner!

Schedule
This is my full-time job, and my schedule is completely open at the moment! I have been on Rover for 2 years and just moved to Denver from DC, so I’m excited to build a roster of regulars in my new home 🫶

- I require at least one meet and greet. In my experience I’ve only ever needed one, but if your dog is reactive or just needs some extra warming up to I’d be happy to accommodate. Please let me know if your pet has takes any vitamins, supplements, or medications and corresponding times. Also, please let me know how your pet is with other animals and people (especially children and men), or any little quirks that I should be aware of. If there are any specific details you'd like to share, feel free to let me know! It's all about creating a safe and comfortable environment tailored to your pet's specific needs.
