A typical day includes feeding on your pet's regular schedule, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles, brushing if they enjoy it, and plenty of love and attention. I follow each pet's routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable while you're away, and I'll send regular photo updates so you can see how they're doing.

I grew up in the country surrounded by animals and have cared for pets my entire life. I've raised and trained my own cats and dogs and have experience caring for rabbits as well. As a preschool teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to routines and individual personalities. For cats staying in our home, I provide a quiet, private room where they can relax and settle in at their own pace. They receive plenty of affection, playtime, and daily care, while my husband and family help create a calm, loving environment. I remain the primary caregiver and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet's stay.

Vanessa boarded my elderly, high needs cat for several days. Eeyore needs a daily pill, 2x a day insulin injections, and she has a strict feeding schedule - all of which Vanessa handled like a pro. She was super communicative while we were away, sending lots of updates and photos and making sure our girl had lots of pats, brushes, and comfortable places to nap. We will absolutely book again.
Thank you Vanessa and to your family especially your kiddos for allowing Pio to stay with you for the weekend as we needed to travel and visit our family out of town. Vanessa is friendly, caring and provides great communication with me throughout Pio’s stay. Vanessa’s kiddos are also very smart and pet-friendly providing Pio with play-time and fun.
