I’ve had pets since I was a young child, for close to 40 years! My two labs were even the ring bearer and flower girls in my wedding! When my dogs passed, I did not get another dog due to increasing work travel. But am missing those furry, loving companions! I've been pet sitting on Rover for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it!

Vanessa was very responsive from the beginning. We first had a meet and greet and decided it was a good fit. I am in the middle of moving house so my pup was pretty stressed out when I dropped her off for the weekend. She quickly settled in at Vanessa's, who kept me informed, sent pictures and quickly responded to me. Very kind and professional! I will definitely contact her for future boarding needs.
Vanessa was great! Good communication. Our dog Farrah looked happy, enjoying the house, yard, other dogs, attention. WE'll be happy ot have her stay again when we're out of town. Thanks!
This was the second time our dogs, Finn and Cleo, stayed with Vanessa. Like last time, they seemed to have an amazing time with her. I always appreciate the updates we get from her. Vanessa provided excellent care for our dog. This was our 1st time using Rover and our dog only recently went blind, so we had a lot of anxiety over this booking. Vanessa hit it out of the park! She provided regular updates (including pictures and video) and took several extra precautions to make sure that our fur-baby was comfortable an extremely well cared for in her home. Vanessa has our highest recommendations!

Schedule
I mostly work remotely and am home the majority of the time! I also have a fenced yard and a house with plenty of room to roam around. My goal as a sitter is to take care of your pet the way you do at home and will follow your pet's normal schedule (or whatever you ask!). We promise to give your sweet fur baby lots of love :) Important Notes: - I do take multiple dogs at a time. - I do not have any pets myself. - Meet and greets are required for new dogs. - High energy dogs are okay, but if they jump or lunge at other dogs to play, they may not be a good fit as most dogs do not like this. - All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and share a screenshot of their vaccination records to the Rover chat. Your dog must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, Bordetella, and have a current negative fecal exam. While we do not require the Canine Influenza vaccine, we do recommend it. - I may leave for a short period of time to run errands, to keep dogs safe, all dogs must either go in their own kennel (you can bring one) or be in their own room. It's important that the dogs are okay with that (e.g., do not scratch up doors). - Dogs must be fully house trained (no pee pads allowed) - Pick ups before 9:00 pm. - I can give medications, no problem!

I have a house with a fenced yard for your fur baby to roam around. I do take a few dogs at a time, so it’s important they get along well with other dogs. They will gets playtime and lots of love!! I can also provide daily walks in my very pet-friendly neighborhood. My children are extremely accustomed to pets and will love them as well! **Pets must be up to date on vaccinations ** Your dog must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, Bordetella, and have a current negative fecal exam. While we do not require the Canine Influenza vaccine, we do recommend it.
A typical day
I live in a very pet-friendly neighborhood. I love to take multiple daily walks, as I work remotely. I also have a fenced yard for your fur baby to roam and enjoy outdoors! Let me know if there are any special needs or requests. Dogs are always fed separately for safety.
