I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have also grown up raising birds, cats, and rabbits. I had my first pet-sitting business when I was just 11 years old. I am a current dog and cat mom. I aspire to be a dog trainer and have my own business one day. I have successfully trained my own dog in a variety of different skills and I am eager to gain even more knowledge to work towards my career. I have 3+ years experience working in a dog daycare/boarding facility. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and all temperaments. I also have experience working with dogs with special needs.

Since I live with other people currently, I can only pet-sit in clients’ homes. I do have a very friendly 5-year old doodle who loves to play with other dogs, so I can always bring him along to keep your pet company. I follow my clients’ instructions to the tee whether regarding potty schedules, feeding schedules, bathing, walking, playing, training, etc. I can also do any additional services if need be while caring for your pet at your home.

Vanessa was very kind, attentive, and thoughtful! She paid close attention to all of the details and made sure my dogs were well cared for. You could tell they were comfortable, happy, and very well taken care of while I was away. She also is very informed on dogs and all of their different behaviors and personalities which made me feel more at ease. I really appreciated the care and attention she gave them, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

We had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter Vanessa. She stayed overnight with our dog and took such great care of her. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos throughout the stay-it gave us peace of mind knowing our Maddie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for . Vanessa was reliable , attentive, and treated our dog like her own. We definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter.

Vanessa has stayed with our two boxers for drop in sessions and now a weekend overnight stay at our house. Vanessa is amazing and always updates us on our pups. She made sure our dogs felt calm and safe during 4th of July fireworks and a few storms. Even with the rain Vanessa was able to provide our dogs with enrichment and play time!
Vanessa was great! I was recovering from a hospital stay and needed all day sit in at my home to care for my lab. Vanessa was the perfect match and my dog loved her instantly. Highly recommended and I will book again as needed.

Schedule
I just moved to the area and I am currently looking for a full-time position in the animal care field. In the meantime, I am looking to find work through Rover to stay caught up on finances. I do plan to continue using Rover for side-work after finding a full-time job. I also believe it could help me gain experience towards my career goals. My schedule is very open at the moment. I take my dog on walks every evening and have training sessions for an hour every day.
