Ive worked in a variety of pet care settings over the last 12+ years. Ive worked at vet clinics, police training kennels, pet sitting companies, have been a pet grooming assistant, have done dog training, and run my own pet sitting business for a few years as well. I have worked with a wide variety of dogs (big, small, old, young), and cats with a variety of special needs, I have cared for horses, small animals (rats, bunnies, chickens), goats, and several species of reptiles, and a cockatiel once. I am thorough, communicative, and am able to give a quality pet care or pet adventure experience.

Vanessa is absolutely amazing! I have two rescues, one of whom can be very skittish around unknown people. She was so amazing and patient with both my pups and allowed them to come to her at their own pace. She was so communicative; I was never stressed or worried about them because she was always so thorough in her check-ins and always sent pictures as well! 10/10 will absolutely book again :)
Vanessa took such good care of our Puppy. She sent us daily updates and returned our dog to us happy and tuckered out. Her dog Pandora was a wonderful playmate and they were sure to give lumen good walks every day! Would highly recommend.

My availability changes per day and week based on appointments. My schedule is semi-flexible depending on the needs of your fur-kiddos and the service(s) provided.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer in-home pet sitting, pet care, as well as can take dogs into my own home. In my own home there is a dog and several cats, so your dog(s) would need to be cat and dog friendly. Your dog will have friends to play with and cuddle with and a fenced yard to roam around with chickens, goats, and ducks in the back (typically fenced off separately).

A typical day
Depending on the animal/day I can happily take doggos for a walk, run, or a hike. There are many places around Bellingham and Ferndale that provide a variety of diverse environments to explore, water to jump in, and grass to roam in. There is play in the back yard, fetch, pool time if desired.
