Home is where the paws are!
We’ve had dogs as long as we both can remember and have always felt comfortable around any breed or size. Many friends and family have always called upon us when their pet is in need of some love and care and we have so much to go around. Our pups unfortunately passed away in 2020 & 2022 and we’ve been empty nesters since. Rover has been a way for us to continue experiencing the love that pups have to give, and has really helped us by providing some therapeutic support throughout our times of grief.

Vanessa & Giovanni was a blessing for my last min booking, beautiful and loving family, Chase took to them immediately and I didn’t have no worries. Chase needed some training and Giovanni helped with that. I definitely will use them again and will recommend them. Thank you guys again ❤️
Scotch had a great stay! We know he is well taken care of with Vanessa and Gio. They kept us updated which we love. Our flight got cancelled last minute and they were so understanding and flexible. Highly recommend.
I truly enjoyed my experience with Gio and Vanessa. They scheduled a meet-and-greet before the actual dog-sitting weekend, and from the very first meeting everything was straightforward and well organized. We went on a walk with Zuko, and Gio walked me through the steps that he and Vanessa take during the stay. Everything was very thorough, and I didn't feel rushed I was able to ask all my questions comfortably. Drop-off for the weekend was super easy. Zuko was already familiar with Gio, and I brought along all the things that help him feel comfortable and at home. I really appreciated that right after drop-off, Gio took Zuko on a walk around the neighborhood to help him get familiar with the surroundings and reduce anxiety. I thought that was a great strategy, and it definitely helped Zuko ease into his stay. Throughout the weekend, they kept me updated with pictures and progress updates, which I really appreciated. I had mentioned that Zuko is usually very calm during the day, and based on the updates and how pickup went, everything matched perfectly. Pickup was just as easy. I pulled up, Zuko happily jumped into the car, and he was clearly comfortable and happy with Gio as well. Overall, this was a very easy and positive experience. I appreciate them accommodating a last-minute booking. Thank you both!
As a first time Rover client, my husband and I were very hesitant to leave our big boy with "anybody" not knowing if they would treat him like we do...like family! Well, *insert* Gio and Vanessa! They are not just "anybody" they are EVERYTHING!!!! From scheduling a meet up to dropping Zulu off, this whole experience with Rover, in particular, Gio and Vanessa, was so so amazing. Gio is who my husband and I met first, and we instantly clicked. He is warm, inviting, professional, and his love for animals is very apparent. We bought our little Big guy with us and even he fell asleep, peacefully, as we spoke about our likes and dislikes and how we parent Zulu. Gio was very upfront about how their system runs at their house, and because I'm a planner who also loves structure, so listening to Gio talk about how the drop off, daily videos, feedings, walks, interactions, and pickup would happen was like music to my ears. After our first meet up, we made sure to set the family up for success with Zulu and just like Gio said, things were so super smooth. He stuck to his word and shared daily videos and we chatted through Whats App when needed. He and his family showed Zulu kindness and love and we will NEVER forget that. For our first experience with leaving our furbaby in the care of who started out as a stranger, only to end this whole experience feeling like we left our guy with a home filled with love, we have to admit Gio and Vanessa are EXACTLY who you would want to care for your furbaby...no matter the size. Please don't hesitate to give them a try. It's a pup care heaven! We are totally satisfied and might I add, a bit spoiled by goodness to our furbaby! Go ahead, click on their page!! We both currently work from home, so are open to any and all schedules. We understand that life has many variables and our pets lives are no different.

Pets are family in our home, and will always be treated with lots of love. You can rest easy knowing that your pup is in good hands. Patience is key and we have lots of it.
A typical day
As mentioned before, we are dog lovers thru and thru. Depending on your dogs energy level and needs, we will adjust accordingly and take note of their likes and dislikes. We are more than happy to roll around in the grass or just hang out and snuggle.
