I love being a dog mom.
I currently have a Yorkie/Silk Terrier we adopted 4 years ago and love him as if he was my child. I’m at stay at home step mom with one teenage daughter who doesn’t require much from me and enjoy giving most of my time to my dog. I’m available most weekdays and weeknights and 50 percent of weekends. I’ve made the step in joining Rover because I would love to help others in providing a great experience to other dog owners with a peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands. In my home I treat my dog like a family member and I can assure you I will do the same with yours. Dogs are truly man’s best friend. They make the world a better place.

Vanessa has took care of our 3 dogs on multiple occasions when my family has gone out of town. She is caring, loving, attentive, nurturing & always keeps me informed via text with what is going on while we are away. She even sends me pics! My 3 dogs used to stay at a local pet resort when we would go out of town, they would come home nervous, anxious and would pick at their food while we were away. The first time Vanessa watched our pups, when we got home from our trip, My family noticed a huge difference in their behavior and overall demeanor. Vanessa is a true dog lover who is responsible, trustworthy and kind. I never worry when she watches them. I’m so glad I found Vanessa!

A typical day
I have all sorts of toys to play fetch with them and if the weather permits would also walk them in my neighborhood. Once I get to know the dog and they feel comfortable with me I enjoy cuddle time and just giving them attention.
