Dog Rescuers For Hire!
Hi there, we are a couple in our early 40s who are avid dog rescuers! We have been Rover sitters since 2017 and we also foster rescue dogs. We have been dog owners for 15 years and have two small rescue pups of our own - Arty & Alita. We put our love for dogs into daily practice & will treat yours like our own :) By profession, Vanessa is a lawyer and Ehsan is an engineer - we work remotely and will be home to ensure your pup gets the love and attention they deserve! We live in a detached house with a fully fenced grass yard. Dogs have free reign in our house, and are welcome on the furniture and beds if the owners allow. We do not crate dogs unless requested by the owner. We are very active and outdoorsy. If we have a high energy visitor, you can find us exploring the trails in Pinecone Burke provincial park or jogging around Buntzen Lake. If we have a more chill visitor, we also live 5 mins from two fenced dog parks and are happy to spend the day rolling in our grassy backyard. During an overnight stay, your dog will be walked at least twice daily. We generally only take bookings from 1-2 families at a time (multiple dogs ok), to ensure your pups have our full undivided attention! We have experience with seniors & puppies, as well as newly rescued dogs. We would love to make more furry friends :)

Our dog Bijou enjoyed staying with Vanessa & Ehsan for 2 years now when we go on vacation, and absolutely loves it! They take her on amazing adventures exploring local trails and provide her with lots of comfort.
Just had our dog complete his longest stay away from us to date (2 weeks). Vanessa and Ehsan were very aware of us being a little nervous and guilty for such a long stay but kept us very well informed on how he was doing. The visit went well and Cosmo seemed very relaxed for having us away so long. Vanessa and Ehsan Made leaving Cosmo a little easier than it may have been otherwise. Would highly recommend them for people who are a little nervous about longer first time visits. Well done!!
This was our first overnight with Vanessa and Ehsan. Great experience overall. Our dog (1 1/2 years old) can be a little nervous but seemed to warm up to them quickly. He settled in better than expected for his first overnight and seemed happy when we picked him up. We have already booked a 2 week stay later in the summer and feel confident leaving Cosmo with them
As always, our dog Bijou had a fantastic stay with Vanessa, Ehsan, Alita & Morty! We love that our dog gets to do loads of exploring on trails and at parks, and gets to meet new friends on play dates.

Schedule
We work remotely so pups in our care receive a lot of attention. We do twice daily walks & regularly visit dog parks, dog beaches, and forested trails.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard and only visit dog parks if the owners feel comfortable with their pet attending one. Otherwise there are plenty of quiet forest trails nearby.

We are avid hikers! We often visit dog beaches and local mountain trails. If you have a high energy dog, they will definitely enjoy their stay :)
