My name is Vanessa and I am a high school science teacher of 11 years. I have one dog, or should I say child, who I have had for nine years and her name is Xena. I have loved animals since I have been a child and find peace when being around them after a hectic day at work. I walk into my home and see my dog greeting me with a ball in her mouth because she’s ready to play, which puts a smile to my face. As a teacher and pet parent, I am vigilant, ensure that your dog will get the exercise that they need, and all the affection in the world. I do understand what it is to be a pet parent and wanting to make sure that they’re in the correct hands and follow all instructions set by you. During our meet up, I will ask questions so I understand what you are looking for as a client, and to make sure your pet is comfortable and feels safe. I communicate and send pictures in the morning, afternoon, and evening because I know as a pet parent that lowers down your stress level to know everything is okay.

My dog is nine years old and she is spoiled. I treat my pet as a member of our family, so she gets 30 to 45 minutes of a walk, sprinting with her ball, bike rides, and plenty of affection; which includes massages and belly rubs. I know, I have created a monster. When it comes to who is able to watch her, I am very selective because I need to know that person will take care of her and not abandon her. I understand for any pet parent, trust is important and that is why I am communicative with any client because it builds trust and an understanding of safety for all parties. The services that I offer are housesitting, dog, walking, and check-ins .

Vanessa did a great job watching Maxwell in my home for a few days. She was communicative, paid attention to detail, followed all of my instructions, and had no issues giving him his medication. Most importantly, Maxwell was comfortable with her. I’d definitely book with her again.

We had a wonderful experience with Vanessa this past weekend! She was incredibly responsive, kind, and caring throughout the entire stay. She kept us updated daily with messages, photos and videos which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Most importantly, our dogs absolutely loved her and were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter and will definitely use her again in the future!

Our fur-babies love Vanessa! She is very attentive and proactive at sending us photos and updates while taking care of our 2 dogs, 2 cats and baby tortoise. We’ve booked her twice for overnight visits and both times our dogs looked for her once she was gone. We definitely recommend Vanessa ❤️
Vanessa is always great and I never worry when she is taking care of my fur babies! She was also very flexible and made herself available with less than 24 hours notice which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher who works from 7 AM to 3:30 PM on Mondays to Fridays, and I am free on Saturday and Sunday. I can housesit during the week and weekends pending if you are okay with me having to work during the weekdays. If you feel that works for you, please let me know and we can work that out. Communication is key and I am flexible.
