I work from home and occasionally leave in the afternoons for a fitness class, but in general I am such a homebody and rely on my pet friends to keep me company and make me feel safer in my home. I enjoy an early morning routine to take the fur kids out to the yard for morning potty and play, then come inside for a peaceful day ahead but letting out pets 2-3x throughout the day until feeding time around 5. From there, we'll potty and play outside and have one more potty before bedtime.

Safety, trust & environment
I adore any and all dogs and treat them with the most care and kindness I possibly can. Dogs are often so scared after their owner leaves and I make it my mission to gain trust immediately. But I also know some dogs just don't want to be bothered. I get that on a deep level.

Information Vanessa C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what triggers your dog! Are they food guarding? Do they like music? Do they like to watch TV? Are they prone to chewing on things and need to be watched closely? I want all of the details to make your pet as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I have a large yard and love to play fetch either together as a pack or 1:1 to avoid any rough housing. I also have several mind-stimulating food puzzle games that will keep them entertained and busy. I have a nearby park with a dog park that we can walk to as well! However, I typically do not engage with dog parks and will only do so on request.

Pet care experience
I've had a dog my entire life then back in 2019 I adopted my first fur baby! I learned the importance of trusting a sitter with your pet after many good and bad experiences both professionally and with friends. For the last year and half, I had a roommate with 3 additional dogs and learned how to properly manage multiple dog personalities and set up a fool proof system to keep dogs separated as needed, but still provide a fun and safe space. I also fostered roughly 3-4 dogs over the last year and recently took a step back to devote a safer and more dedicated space for Rover care. It's now just me and my dog Louis and we're ready for all of the furry friends to keep us company. I work from home and truly enjoy all kinds of fur babies keeping me company throughout the day. My fully fenced in yard is large enough for sufficient play time and love to get outside to play often!
Reviews

Vanessa was great to communicate with and sent a daily photo my little dude, Side Eye! Her backyard set up is great for the pups and my pup had a great time and was a happy camper when I picked him up. Will definitely use her again.

Vanessa was great with our dog Reggie! Great communication, quick to respond and provided daily updates with pictures and videos. 10/10 highly recommend!

Vanessa is and was my absolute life saver. I have a 15.5 year old pup that needs a lot of meds, routine, care, flexibility, and Vanessa provided all of that and more. She and her 9 year old baby Luis were beyond kind to Fievel. I am so so grateful for her and her fenced in yard haha being in salt lake. She works from home so she really is such a great fit to watch our little family members.

Great stay for our dog. Communication was great and we couldn’t ask for more!
