Pet care experience
Sitter in the city
I have experience with small to extra large dogs including senior dog care. Friends and family have relied on me for pet sitting. I have the most experience with extra large breeds as I previously had a Newfie until he passed due to cancer. I work from home and have no children in the house but just got a new newfoundland puppy so its a quiet environment but there is lits of puppy energy. We will engage inactivities to keep your furry friend active and seperate the puppy when needed as every activity level in a dog is different.

I dont want my secret to get out how fabulous Vanessa is as she will get so busy it will be hard to book her! But seriously, she is amazing! I trust her 100% and my pups love to go to her house and play with her dog Sherman!

Vanessa was great! She put in a lot of effort to win over my shy pup and I think Lilo will end up really liking her after a few visits :) Lilo already seems more comfortable than she has been with other new sitters, which is such a relief.
As always, Vanessa took great care of my pups while I was out of the country visiting family for 10 days. Always sends updates and asks permission before something (such as giving the pups a chew bone, treat, etc). She is my number one choice and selfishly I don't want anyone else to know about her because she will be booked out forever.

I currently work remotely and am available and flexible for a variety of hours during the day or evening. Weekends are also available and flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard. I also have an extra large crate available if needed. I also have plenty of toys and an extra dog bed if needed. I live near a lake for walks or swimming if your dog likes.
Pets
A typical day
We will normally go on two shorter walks or one longer one per day. If your pet needs more we can arrange that. I like to make sure they get other stimulation throughout the day as well as playtime in the yard with toys or fetch or the spalsh pad. If your dog likes to swim we can take the long lead to the lake. Fun enrichment activities I like, include scent work or working on training commands.
