I work from home and only do boarding & daycare so your pups will have lots of attention throughout the day. I also limit the number of dogs in my care so your pup will have a stress-free environment to relax in. I am happy to provide walks or outdoor time every 2-4 hours, or more often if requested.

My house is 1 story, has very few stairs, and has a fenced in yard. My yard backs up to a large open field, and there are several walking trails surrounding. There is plenty of wildlife in the area, from bunnies, to deer, to groundhogs, so your dog will find many smells during their walks! In the summer, I can supply a kiddie pool, sprinkler, and a shady cot for your pup. All outdoor playtime is supervised! My pugs are both fully vaccinated and current on flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. They are pretty active and love playing with other dogs.

Please let me know if your dog will require any medications, or has special behavioral issues that I should be aware of (i.e. separation anxiety, marking, leash reactivity etc). I would also like to know your dog's routine, so I can try to keep it the same during their stay. Does your dog know any common commands or tricks? Do they play Fetch or any other special games? Let me know what they are so we can work on them/ play during their stay! Be as detailed as possible with their care instructions and please be ready to present current vaccination records for your pet! Please provide accurate drop-off and pickup times (30 minute window), as this will allow me to adjust my schedule to provide the best care for your pup! Daycare pricing includes up to a 10 hour stay during normal business hours. For daycare longer than 10 hours or outside of normal business hours, my boarding rate will apply. Currently accepting bookings up to 90 days in advance! Unable to accept same day requests from new clients. Dropoff/ Pickup times must be between: 8am-9pm unless previously discussed. *Please note that dropoff/ pickup times are appointments- I plan my schedule around these times and cannot always accommodate sudden changes in plans. If you need to make a last minute adjustment to any dropoff/pickup times please wait for confirmation before heading over.
A typical day
Pups enjoy walks along local trails, where they will see many trees/ plants, and squirrels, bunnies and deer. Dogs can play fetch or chase tennis balls outside, and enjoy a dip in the kiddie pool when it's hot! Pet parents can also expect many cute photos of their pups if they like!

Hello! I'm Vanessa and I've had dogs most of my life, from puppies to seniors and am currently the proud mama to 2 pugs, Garak (8) and Darmok (6). I have taken vet tech courses and am comfortable with all kinds of dogs, I can even help your dog with some basic training! I will work hard to earn your dog's trust to ensure they feel comfortable during their stay. Available to respond to new requests from 8am - 8pm.

Vanessa has taken care of Canela several times now. She communicates several times throughout the day which gives us peace of mind while we’re away. We trust that Canela is in good hands whenever she’s with her.
We have an 11 1/2 ole girl and it was wonderful to find a place where she didn’t have to navigate a lot of steps. Vanessa’s house was perfect. She wanted to know all about Elsa and her needs. Elsa is quirky in her old age and we give her a lot of supplements to help her joints to avoid daily prescription meds. Vanessa was really understanding and took excellent care of Elsa! We loved getting all the pictures and updates!
Vanessa provided a great day of dog sitting to my two dogs. One dog is new to us and has lots of anxiety about new people and places. Vanessa was terrific about helping Pippi acclimate to a new place and person. Vanessa’s own dogs helped Pippi feel comfortable. My other dog Maisy has spent time with Vanessa before and is happy when we arrive at her house.
