I have recently moved back to Jacksonville and am not working at the moment. I am available when you and yours need me. I miss having a pet and really enjoy taking care of others. Recently I was living with my son and his family. I was in charge of their dog as well as meals. I am a retired chef and willing to cook for your family also.

I try to spend as much time with the pets as possible. I constantly check food and water. Worst thing ever to run out or not get feed at the right time. I also ask lots of questions so that I am prepared for anything that might arise.

I like to know about personalities and favorite toys and places and activities. I also like to know what the neighbors think about the pet so that I know who to avoid or hang out with when out of the home.

I like to give my dogs a lot of attention. I do not like them to feel sad or lonely when their family is away. I usually follow them to their favorite spot in the house and hang out in that area as much as possible so that when they need or want attention I am available. I try not to let them out of my site.

I have taken care of dogs (and cats) since I was a teenager. I am thinking about moving my life again so am waiting for my next pet. I have had pets all my life. In the mean time I would love to make yours my own when they need a part time friend.

Vanessa was great! Daily updates and had no issues taking care of my 2 Great Danes! House was left cleaner than I left it!
A big thank you to Vanessa for staying with my sweet, but in a way special needs pup. Vanessa gave her lots of love and attention and was willing to work with her, so I could feel comfortable traveling all the way to Europe. I am sad to see Vanessa is going back to Florida. I would definitely hired her again, but wishing Vanessa all the best in Florida. 🙏🐾 Katja&Tullia
Vanessa was amazing with our dog and cat! We felt so comfortable with her and knew that we could trust her with our girls for a long weekend trip. The girls trusted her too: my dog snuggled with Vanessa and my cat wasn't as anti-social as she often is with new people in our house. Vanessa was very attentive and sent pictures through the day. This was our first Rover experience and we're just thrilled that Vanessa was our first sitter.
Dogs did great! Vanessa was helpful keeping these girls schedules when we had a new rescue in the home. As well, Vanessa managed meds & meals well. So easy to work with thanks for all your care!
