Dogs are my favourite people!
Hi, I'm Vanessa. My family and I are serious dog lovers. I have been walking / looking after dogs in my home for about 8 years and can provide many great references. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages including puppies and senior dogs. We have a beautiful and super friendly Yellow Labrador Retriever named Bella who would love to play with your pup and keep them company during their stay. With a house full of dog toys, comfy dog beds, daily walks and a fully fenced backyard to play in, your dog will feel right at home and have a wonderful vacay while you are away. Pet parents will receive photos and videos throughout the duration of their pet's stay so you can rest assured that your pet is having a wonderful time and is being well cared for. My goal is to give your pet all the love, care and attention that they would receive at home to give you the peace of mind to enjoy your time away worry free!

This was our first time using Rover for our 2.5 year old Goldendoodle. Vanessa hosted a meet and greet to ensure our dog would get along with hers and we would be a good fit. We were gone for three days and he had a great time, and came home happy. We got lots of pictures while we were away, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It is so nice to know we have someone close by that we can trust to treat Dexter just as we do.
My puppy who is still working on her social skills had such a great time under Vanessa's care. We can't wait till our next visit!

Schedule
I care for dogs in my home full time so I am available any day of the week whether you are looking for daycare, overnights, extended stays or simply dog walking.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs have free reign in the downstairs area of the house and have access to lots of toys, dog beds and are allowed to lounge on the couch and chairs. We have a fully fenced backyard to play in and a super friendly resident Labrador Retreiver to keep your pup company!

A typical day
Most dogs love to be mentally stimulated through games activities, playtime and walks. Your dogs will experience all of this in our home, our fully fenced backyard and daily walks in the neighborhood or at our local dog park. When at the dog park, I can accommodate either on or off leash walks depending on your preference and your dogs recall.
