Hi! My experience with pet care comes from growing up with dogs my whole life. I have a Maltese-Shih Tzu back at home, so I’m very familiar with caring for small dogs and giving them the attention and love they need. I’m available weekdays/weekends and am happy to help with walks, drop-ins, or dog sitting. If your dog needs a bath during their stay, I’d be more than happy to help with that as well! My mom has been a professional dog groomer for many years, so I’ve spent a lot of time around dogs and feel very comfortable caring for all kinds of personalities. If your dog requires medication or any specific care routines, just let me know! I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure to keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel comfortable while you’re away. Vanessa was available last minute as me and my husband were visiting from out of town which was very generous. She communicated well and sent updates with pictures of our doggy. Would book again if in the area!
Vanessa saved your Thanksgiving! She was very kind and sent me pictures of my dog Abbi snuggling up with her! I was very nervous about using Rover as Abbi normally goes to boarding, but I had a very pleasant first experience with Vanessa.
Vanessa was very nice, and seemed to like Snuffie but there were a few things wrong with our visit. She met me in her building lobby when I brought him for drop off, and didn't offer to let me see the apt where he would be staying. Very odd, that's never happened before. She wasn't always quick to get back to me, one time I think it took almost 2 hours for a response. Lastly, when we got home I discovered he had peed in his crate. This is something he has never done before, which makes me suspect he was left in his crate for too long. I don't know if it's perhaps a lack of experience on her part, but I worried about him from the time I dropped off until I picked him up, so I will be choosing someone else in the future.
Vanessa was great with my puppy! She accepted a last minute booking on Thanksgiving and showed my pup a great time. He came home tired and happy. She communicated well and sent updates throughout the day. Would book again.
Vanessa was wonderful with our anxious pup Toby! She is a great communicator, even for a last-minute request, and Toby came back from her house tired and happy. We’ll definitely use her again and recommend her to others!

Schedule
I currently work from home so I will have plenty of time to watch your pet! I wake up early as well so if you need them fed, taken out, or medication at a certain time, just let me know.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a very family friendly apartment complex with lots of area to walk your dog. The environment is overall very safe to make your dog feel at home. I keep my place very clean, cozy and minimalistic so there would not be high concerns as far as your pup getting into anything as well.

A typical day
I would love to take your dog(s) on walks. also, just to explore the outdoors and if they are staying for an extended period of time, to get used to the area! I love playing with any toys they might enjoy or simply just lounging on the couch with them keeping company.
