About Valrie P.

Safety, trust & environment

Our home is a great place for our 3 cats. We have cat towers, toys and places to lay in the sunshine. I prefer to watch pets in the comfort of their own home however. It makes them feel comfortable while their loved ones are away.

Information Valrie P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know what your pet needs are ahead of time. Special needs, normal activity/routine, favorite toy, likes and/or dislikes, medications, etc. Thank you so much!

A typical day

The typical day should depend on the pet and their current routine. If it’s a high energy pet that needs a lot of activities then we can plan for games and walking to expel some of that energy. If it’s for a lower energy pet then some light stimulating games or mentally challenging pet puzzles/activities. I believe like humans and pets alike should have something tailored to the individual.

Pet care experience

I was raised on a farm where I assisted in caring for our horses, donkeys, goats, birds, regular birds, dogs and cats. I have experience in giving animals a variety of medicines from shots to oral medicines, potty training and even assisting a mare or two in the delivery of their foals. I have raised several dogs including a minpin, min poodle, blood hound and several Great Pyrenees. I currently have 3 cats and a little human who thinks he’s a cat.

Valrie has cats of her own and I know she grew up with dogs, birds and horses to name a few. She is very kind and a experienced RN so I know she would be great if any pets had medications.
