Hi! I'm Valerie, a gentle and kind-hearted pet lover living in the center of Alkmaar with my Dutch boyfriend and our two beloved cats, Lolita and Lexa. I've always had a deep love for animals, they bring me so much peace and joy :) As a pet sitter, I will come to your home to feed your animals, refresh their water, take for a walk and of course, to give them lots of love and attention. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe and happy when you're away, whether it’s just for a day or an extended vacation. I’m an excellent treat-giver, a professional cuddler (only if your pet allows it!), and very attentive to each individual personality. I'm available in Alkmaar and nearby areas and would be happy to meet you and your pet before you go away.

Again, Valerie and Thom were amazing. They took great care of my 3 cats for an entire month, dealing with plenty of unexpected issues with no complaints, staying in regular contact, and were very flexible when my flight got delayed for a few days. Found my sitter dream team! 😄
We are delighted to have found Valerie. She took wonderful care of our two cats.. one of whom is a difficult, shy girl who needs medicine daily. Schedule
Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I happily fit it into my daily and weekly schedule. Since I work as a freelancer, my time is flexible, I can easily plan visits, walks, and playtime around my projects. This allows me to give pets my full attention and keep their routine as consistent as possible.
