I only board one dog at a time, so I can keep a close eye on your dog and give them plenty of attention! (I will consider two dogs from the same household.) I always do a meet-and-greet before a first stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone, and I'll keep you updated with photos and videos while you're away. I've had dogs for nearly 20 years and have experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I also have experience with senior dogs, including one with megaesophagus and myasthenia gravis, so I'm comfortable with oral and liquid medications and special feeding schedules. I work from home and only board one dog at a time, so your dog will get plenty of attention and a calm place to stay. My dog, Henry, is friendly with dogs of all sizes and is very laid back. My cat, Franklin, usually isn't interested in making dog friends and will keep her distance or hang out in another room.

Valarie was wonderful! She took great care of my dog, took her for walks/dog park run and she was easy to communicate with. Her dog Henry is wonderful.
Valerie has been boarding my dog for over 5 years now and she is awesome. Leaving your pets is always hard, but she always sends updates and pictures so I don't have to worry. She makes sure they get walked and stay clean, and my dogs love her and get so excited to see her. If you need someone who will treat your pets like family, definitely book Valerie.
Valerie has dogsat for us several times now and she is the best! She has dogs and cats of her own as well and she’s the best pet mom. She’s very in tune with their needs and how they feel. She’s always very responsive and good communicator. We love her and she’s our go-to dog sitter!
Can’t say enough good things about Valerie and the way she took care of my sweet baby! Left my 35lb shepherd with her over a four day weekend, she was so king to send me daily updates and had the absooute cutest play photos when they took trips to the dog park. I would highly recommend Valerie and will be using her again. My only complaint is that my sweet pup almost didn’t want to come home with me after her stay, but that’s a me problem! Thank you Valerie!

Schedule
I work from home full time, so your dog will have company throughout the day and rarely be left alone. Our routine includes a longer morning walk, an afternoon walk, and a short walk before bed with potty breaks throughout the day. I'm also happy to adjust the routine to your dog's needs.

I only board one dog at a time, so I can keep a close eye on your dog and give them plenty of attention. I will consider two dogs from the same household. Henry is friendly with dogs of all sizes and pretty laid back. Franklin, my cat, generally keeps to herself or hangs out in another room. I'll follow your dog's normal feeding, medication, and home routines as closely as possible. Your dog will never be left outside unattended and I'm happy to use your crate (if provided) if your dog is crate trained.

A typical day
We start with a 45 minute morning walk (7-8AM) and pass a large neighborhood dog run along the way. If it's empty, we'll stop in for some off leash time. If other dogs are there, we'll only go in with your okay. Midday, we'll take a potty break and have some one-on-one play time indoors or in my apartment's dog run when if it's empty. In the afternoon, we'll take a 30 minute leashed walk through one of the neighborhood parks with plenty of time to sniff and explore. After dinner, there's another potty/play break, followed by a short 10 minute walk before bedtime.
