Pup safety and comfort is our priority. My husband and I are retired and home full-time, so your dog will have constant supervision and a calm, structured environment. We only host one dog at a time (or two from the same family) and accept dogs 20 lbs and under only. Dogs are walked frequently and also have access to a screened lanai for easy potty breaks. I have raised and cared for dogs from puppy age through their senior years, so I am comfortable with all stages of life. This is a quiet, low-stress home—not a high-volume dog sitting environment.

Valerie is an excellent dog sitter! She sent me pictures of Dusty during his stay and texted me updates on his activities during the day. I am so relieved we found such a wonderful person to take care of Dusty. I will definitely use Valerie again.
We did a meet & greet with Valerie and a short daycare. She was very considerate of our picky requests, and she took the time to listen to all the concerns and questions we had. It was obvious how much she cares about our furry friend! They have a very good set-up for Dudley and other guest doggos. Will ask for her help again in the future!
This is the second time our furbaby Cam has stayed with Valerie. She and her husband pamper him and take excellent care of him. She sent plenty of pictures and messages during his stay. In addition, their furbaby Dudley and Cam has become big buddies. Rest assured that if you leave your baby with Valerie, she will take great care of him/her. We will use her the next time we go out of town.
Valerie was wonderful with our dog!!! I didn’t think it was possible to spoil Cam anymore than he already was but I think she and her husband managed to do so. She kept us updated with plenty of pictures. Cam hit it off immediately with their dog Dudley and had a great time playing with him. We will definitely use Valerie again!!! We were completely satisfied with her care of our furbaby.
Valerie is the perfect person to watch your pets!! She sends lots of pictures and videos and will love on your animal(s) so well! She is very responsible and communicates quickly when needed. Her and her husband are the perfect people to leave your pet(s) with!!

My husband and I are both retired and home full-time, so your dog will have consistent supervision throughout the day. When we are hosting furbaby guests, we rarely leave the house, and when we do, it is very brief. Your pup will never be left alone for long periods. Our routine is calm and predictable, which helps dogs feel comfortable and secure.

I provide care in a calm, clean, and low-stress home environment. Safety is always my top priority. I only accept small dogs (20 lbs and under) and only host one guest dog at a time (or two from the same family). This allows me to give each dog my full attention and maintain a safe environment. Dogs are closely supervised at all times, both inside and outside. My home is pet-friendly, and I follow each owner’s instructions carefully—including feeding routines, sleeping preferences, and any special needs. My goal is for your dog to feel as comfortable and cared for as they do at home. We intentionally keep a small number of dogs so we can provide truly personalized care and build lasting relationships with the families we work with. This is the sweetest, saddest message we have gotten on Rover. A beautiful testament to the love between a furbabby and their person. Cam was the first pup we met on Rover. He is a very special guy. In Memory of Cam - Crossed the Rainbow Bridge 09/27/2023 Rest easy buddy! Valerie, I hate to tell you this but I thought you needed to know so you wouldn't wonder why we never called on you to keep Cam again. Sadly, we had to have him put to sleep Wednesday. He started getting sick Saturday so we took him back to Auburn Sunday. They tried to help him but he just kept getting worse. After consulting with the doctors Tuesday and Wednesday we made the TOUGH decision that the best and most loving thing we could do for him was to let him go. We went and spent some time with him and said our goodbyes. Needless to say we have shed a lot of tears. It's really been tough these past few days around the empty house. I want you, Dewey and Dudley to know how very much the way y'all loved on Cam and took care of him whenever we were away meant to us. I cannot possibly put into words how much that meant. So THANK YOU so very much for loving our fur baby!!! Please give Dudley a hug and tell him thanks from us. From Cam's dad

A typical day
A typical day is calm, structured, and centered around your dog’s needs. Dogs are taken out frequently for potty breaks and short walks in our quiet, pet-friendly community, and they also have access to our screened lanai. The rest of the day includes lots of relaxing, cuddling, and quiet companionship. Because we only host one dog at a time, your pup gets plenty of attention and can settle in comfortably without stress. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.
