I am the other person in my role and I normally work M-F 9am-5pm but it’s pretty flexible. I work in Lionshead in Vail so can leave in the middle of the day if needed if the location is near there.

Please let me know if there are any commands you use, if they are okay around other animals or children if we happen to pass them on walks, and if there are any current health concerns.
A typical day
If you have a more energetic dog, I could take them to the Bighorn dog park but it is an off lease no fence park so would need to know if this was okay and the dog would not run. Otherwise, we could just stay on lease and use the never ending trails by the creek.

Always had pets from pigs and cows to cats and dogs. Will walk the dog or take to a dog park and snuggle with your cat if they let me. I have a cat so if watching at my home, your animal must be friendly around him.

Our boy Kovu is a very skittish and shy cat around new people so we were pleasantly surprised he opened up to Valerie so early into her drop ins. I looked forward to her check in cards with her and Kovu’s selfies. I can see he was comfortable around her and truly being cared for while we were away. We would gladly hire Valerie to come and watch Kovu again.
Valerie was awesome! We knew our dog was in great hands, and we received tons of pics and updates.
Valerie was great. She was thoughtful and my kitties loved her.
Valerie was able to help me out last minute to watch my pup! She was very responsive and sending updates throughout the day!
