Rest assured that your dog will be safe and well taken care of with me as their sitter. I am available for overnight stays on the weekends. Potentially during the week as well but I do work in office full time M-F. I am available to come home during lunch for potty breaks if a dog were to stay with me during the week.

Information Valerie S. would like to know about your pet
Before agreeing to sit your dog or cat, I'd love to know more about their temperament, activity level, dietary needs/restrictions and any known medical issues. I'd also like to know their daily schedule/routine. Most importantly, however, is your vet information. My goal is to maintain any schedules you've established for your pet so as to provide as little disruption to their daily lives as possible.
A typical day
Your dog(s) or cat will receive the same care from me that I would give/expect to receive for my own fur children. They will have access to the entirety of my dog proofed house. Your dog is more than welcome to take a snooze on the couch while here or run and play in our huge fenced in yard. Depending on your dogs and their preferences, I am happy to take them on walks with me. I aim to get in at least one long walk a day!

Loving pet sitter, cats & dogs!
Pet care experience
If you're looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter for your weekend get away, look no further! My husband and I have had dogs since we were young and have experience working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. We have one dog, three cats, and even some backyard chickens: a 2 1/2 year old mini Australian Shepherd (Luna), an 11 year old calico cat (Layla), an 8 year old calico cat (Lydia) and our newest edition, a 4 month old Siamese mix Lenore. Our senior dog Lux recently passed away after being with us for 10 years. I spent much of the past year caring for him and trying to buy him more time as his health declined. He suffered from advanced heart disease and was taking about 10 medications a day, lost his sight and was unable to control his potty habits. It is safe to say we have some experience with senior care and animals with health issues. We miss Lux dearly and are not ready to get another dog but would love to have some doggie friends come stay with us and play with Luna. We have one child in our home, our three month old son, Grayson. All of our animals love him and claim him as "their baby". I worry for the day Grayson is old enough to ask me for a pet of his own because I will likely say yes to all of them!
Reviews

Valerie was fantastic for watching our dog. She was flexible on drop off and pickup time and provided updates during the stay. Our dog loved playing with her two pups.

Valerie was awesome! She made my pup feel loved and put up with his high energy ❤️

Valerie is excellent. I would highly recommended Valerie for a great sitter.

Highly recommended Valerie! Abbey had an excellent stay.
