Dog lover with a flexible schedule!
I worked at the humane society in my hometown for 5 years and interacted with a wide variety of dogs; huge to tiny, shy to rambunctious, gentle to aggressive so I am confident and comfortable working with any and all dogs. I have dog-sat, as well as house-sat, for members of my community for at least 7 years. A former client had 10 dogs and 3 cats I would check in on and stay overnight with, so I’m not easily overwhelmed. I’ve worked with elderly dogs on many occasions and have given medications and other special care like eye drops, diaper changes, etc so I’m competent in managing the care of old dogs if need be. Additionally, I’ve had a lot of experience with puppies and adolescent dogs so I know what to expect with the energy level, teething and extra energy and patience needed when caring for a young dog.
